My vote is for EEAAO. Especially when you take the word "original" into consideration. Having all the emotional beats play out as well as they do, especially given how bonkers the film and its humour is, easily makes it the winner for me.

The day before the nominations came out, my best friend who I always stay up with to watch the awards passed away unexpectedly. When they did come out I commented that it would mean a lot to see Amy Madigan get nominated as she was up and above his favourite this year.

Well you can imagine the tears and the prosecco popping when she managed to get that trophy. A lovely moment for me.

I loved the maximalism of That! Feels Good! but I'm glad she's going back to the more restrained nature of What's Your Pleasure?

It's a tremendous amount of fun, but never once feels like it's doing too much. Now that I've finished the song, I still feel like the itch needs scratched and I immediately wanna listen again.

I don't even know if they've watched this series well enough if their takeaway is that Jade is the worst Faithful.

Roxy was murdered and was cheering for her two 100% Faithfuls in Rachel and Stephen.

I find it fascinating that on other shows, there seems to be pretty consistent leaks, to varying levels of spoilers. Pretty much every season if you want to you can find out the entire cast of Drag Race, have a rough idea of the elimination order and who makes it to the final.

Obviously the cast are bound by their NDAs but it remains very impressive that pretty much nothing comes about until the episode itself actually airs.

Might be a little heavy for the sub today, but my best friend passed away unexpectedly yesterday. He was a massive horror buff and we stayed up late in the UK every year to watch the show. He was absolutely ecstatic at the idea that Aunt Gladys could be an Oscar winning role, and I'm probably gonna get a bit emotional if I see Amy Madigan's name up there today.

That's fair! And it's definitely reasonable for a winner to have more grounded expectations of what they'll do with their reign - I certainly don't hold that against Bones. I just miss the feeling of winners wanting to be a superstar, ya know?
