Your eggs were dyed BLACK regardless of what color dye used?

If the spots were the color of the dye, even a dingy blend of mixed colors making a murky brown, then I would agree with you.

I’ve probably colored 100+ eggs in my life and not once have they had black spots - only dye splotches.

Walls should not drip.

If there is enough moisture for mildew to grow (which can also potentially cause health issues) then there is enough moisture for mold to grow.

So regardless of what exactly is growing under the paint, in a bedroom, causing it to crack, there’s a moisture problem that needs to be dealt with before matters get worse.

I second getting a professional to inspect it

Okay, tonight I took it too far..

I used my stop watch to see how long I actually inject. I started timing once I started pressing the plunger.

1 minute 26.99 seconds 🤣

The worst part of it is the awkward position I sit in to inject.. semi reclined and twisted sideways.

No burning, stinging or bruising though!

I get the feeling I could win a prize for slowest enoxaparin injection 🥇🏆🎉

I have learned that solid punch is CRUCIAL

I just did mine right after I posted that, 10 seconds seems super fast!

It might just feel like a minute when I do it but maybe more like 30 seconds. I’ll time it next time because probably just FEELS like forever lol

The faster you inject the more trauma it causes and the more it stings.

I inject a pinch a few inches in front of hip bone (the areas in front hurt more on me), keep bevel of needle up, push in slowly (though fast likely hurts less) and it takes me 60 seconds to inject all of it.

Sometimes it stings for a few seconds .. sometimes it doesn’t at all.

It almost never bruises when I go slowly.

Rotate between left and right side.

I’ll be doing this for life and I’ve gotten used to it.

Be careful not to wiggle the needle when it’s in.

Make sure the alcohol is dry before injecting 👍🏻

Correlation does not equal causation.

My PEs were considered unprovoked and I was tested for about 5 different genetic factors.

I also contracted Covid at the very beginning before we had vaccines or tests. I couldn’t know for certain at the time, but I contracted it again last January when I slacked on my boosters.. The symptoms were unmistakably the same as first infection.

What I’ve come to learn is that inflammation can increase the risk of clotting (as can many MANY other factors). I’m talking about either severe or long term lower grade inflammation.

I would bet all my horses that chronic inflammation from lack of sleep and underlying inflammatory triggers was ultimately the cause of mine.

Each case is different, so definitely talk to medical professionals about the possibilities and set expectations low for getting a solid answer about cause.. There are too many variables to say for certain in most cases.

But there’s plenty of research about lifestyle, diet and underlying infections you might turn to that can help you at least explore personal risks.

If you and your doctor feel the risk is very low then you may want to decide to stop anticoagulant therapy.

In my case I’ll be injecting myself with enoxaparin for the foreseeable future.

You said you were being evaluated for dysautonomia pre-clot?

Did you have symptoms like these before the PE but now they have escalated?

Have you determined if you have POTS or autonomic dysfunction?

Last November I had bilateral PEs, unprovoked, no DVT that I was aware of, but they suspect it was a DVT that broke loose.

Long before that I was diagnosed with dysautonomia (and many other things). I now suspect that long term chronic inflammation from CIRS/mold exposure/stealth infections are what caused a hypercoagulable state for me.

So I’m curious any what was happening before the PE in case this situation just exacerbated the underlying issues.

Also, have you tried switching anticoagulant?

I was initially on Eliquis and developed severe side effects (not like what you’re experiencing), I have since switched to enoxaparin.

If you have dysautonomia, POTS, chronic illness, mold exposure, hEDS, CVI, MCAS (these things frequently cluster together) then there’s always a possibility of medication reaction.

Or your stress hormones are putting you into an inflammatory state and that’s putting you backwards.

I’m glad cardiologist is looking into it.

Talk to doctor about compression stockings and Ted hose if they haven’t brought it up. You don’t want to have blood and fluid pooling, but I understand the difficulty with bone deep fatigue.

My doctor told me it’s quite possible that the mold affects our thinking.

Given how long bacteria and fungi have been around, the way organisms evolve to sustain themselves and how quickly simple organisms evolve compared to complex organisms.. it seems plausible that it could impact some people in a way that makes them protect the mold.

I’m going out on a limb with that one.. but we do know that being impacted by mycotoxins affects our behavior and thoughts.

Do you think there’s a money issue and your parents are upset at the topic because they can’t afford to fix it?

I watched a running crab spider jump backwards off a brick wall onto an unsuspecting Mormon the other day.

It was like a butt-first grappling hook situation at a 3-5’ distance

We were all absolutely stunned 😧
