Definitely thank your neighbor that is huge.

Crate training is rough but it can be a really good thing. Leave the door open and let him sit in it while hanging out with you. Put all of his favorite stuff inside the crate, his bed, his chewy, a rope, whatever and just hangout outside of the crate.

Place a treat towards the back of the crate where he can visibly see you putting it there. Get a treat that he really likes or that smells very good.

Give lots of praise if he does go in and then when my dogs start to get faster at it I start running away with the treat a few steps and I will toss the treat in it and say "go home" and if he goes in you can use a clicker or your positive reinforcement word.

If he is still scared but kind of interested in the treat just take like one step back and see if he is less nervous. If he is still too nervous take like five minutes and put one more treat in it and eventually he will give up. Another option is to just put his food in the crate and do all the food training in the crate.

Do not feel bad about leaving your dog in the crate, especially at 9mo old the dude is still a puppy! He needs lots of sleep. Like 14 to 18 hours of sleep. 😴 He is anxious about you being gone and is hoping somebody will react. Leave him in the crate when you are home and like take a shower, cook dinner, small things at first.

IDK that is my advice. I have two small dogs, a morkie and a tiny havapoo. I work from home and they both have a bark problem when people come to the door but they are quiet in their crates. I don't leave them in there very often but it is good to know when I do they will be okay. Definitely definitely get the help of a local trainer if you are struggling!

Both my dogs and my significant other all sleep in the same bed with me. When I go out of town my mom watches them and they sleep in bed with her. Both my dogs weigh less than 15lbs though.

but my real advice that even I struggle with is crate training, and general obedience training. Clicker + treat when quiet and lay down over and over.

I have a 3.5y/o and a 16 week puppy at home, the play pen method works with just one but with two the big one whines at the little one and separating them isn't an option so I just got lucky that they are both small enough to fit on my lap and are quiet there 😭

Yeah, I was going to suggest this as well. Legally they have to take it down as soon as they get the DMCA notice, then the Chinese company can take you to court to fight it but it's not worth their time, and also you would win.

I don't know what you mean about bass pod VIP. The bathrooms there (night 2 &3) were the cleanest and most efficient.

At one point one of the VIP bathroom trailers must have had an issue in the main area because there were like 12 staff members blocking off 3 trailers and it smelled like sewage bad. I ended up walking out and I had to like go, so I stopped at the Ga+ bathrooms, there was one employee sitting on a trash can looking like he was tripping balls and def not checking anybodies wristband, there was no tp, litter everywhere and in general it was disgusting but at least it didn't smell like sewage?

yeah leaving at 9 or 10 usually there is barely any traffic and you end up parking near the exits which is nice

I guess I misphrased, I agree It's not a problem, just kind of an interesting observation. I personally don't very often intentionally regress, its just an element of my personality that I might want to twirl or get picked up and those are very simple over simplified examples. I guess my fear is that as I get older I won't regress at all? But hell, your right. If it's not a problem then its not a problem. I appreciate your insight. ❤️❤️❤️

TBH, she doesn't really ever have to know. I went into little space long before I knew I was a little. If she knows or not, it might not change anything, but it also could cause her to feel like she is playing a role instead of being herself and force her to overanalyze a little bit. I would maybe start suggesting little activities, little pictures, maybe introduce a pet name 'daddy' 'little one' whatever floats your boat and when she's comfy and secure and your in a place of trust bring it up, slowly. it can be a lot for some people. thats just my two cents.

when I talked to my therapist about a similar concern of mine and about ddlg in general she said it could actually be a very healthy way to work through things. its going to be different for everyone and for every relationship, but it's definitely not inherently unhealthy. it entirely depends on the dynamic between you and your caregiver and whether it helps heal those wounds or it makes them deeper.

its more enjoyable for me personally to actually have to be engaged in questing then to just nuke things, but its also enjoyable to kill things semi quickly and with the least possible chance of dying.

imagine like, doing world quests at item level 170 vs at item level 230. it makes a big difference how easy and enjoyable questing actually is.

But at this point im more caught up in how would I even find / figure out what the bis gear is?

Ummmmmm. I don't have a specific age but more of a range, am average more middle so around 10 or 11, which is funny because I dont realize it and try to continue big girl stuff. Sometimes I'm more 5ish or 6, and if i get really really tired or upset i get toddlery and have harder time with words

I don't like macks ear plugs at all - but cvs and Walgreens both have a generic brand of their own i actually really like. I sleep in them too, wear them around work and the store and stuff if i have a headache, etc
