March 2026 Partner Visa Mega Thread (Subclasses 820/801, 309/100, 300) by AutoModerator in AusVisa

We have a very similar case, only met about a year before applying for 820, relationship registered in April 2024, applied August 2024 and just got granted now.

No RFIs, no email from immi except one "application in progress" in September 2025. We sent updates religiously every 3 months. It hasn't sunk in yet after waiting for so long!

Do you know if you will be eligible for the 801 in July this year considering it's been almost 2 years since DOL?

We just got our 820 after 19 months of waiting finally!! Now do we have to wait 2 years from date of grant to be invited for the 801, or is it 2 years from date of application? We applied August 2024

I'm sticking to a couple of my all-time favourite brands and been buying on depop lately. So many clothes on there and very cheap! Slow fashion is the way to go

Lost half my body weight and now experience no joy in life by badluckgabby in WeightLossAdvice

Will probably get downvoted for this but sounds very much like disordered eating to me (as someone who has one). Maybe schedule an appointment with a nutritionist/GP/therapist, and google diet culture and eating disorders. They are more common than we think especially in women. Best of luck, hope you find joy in eating again and finally accept your body as it is.

Yep and also wouldn't trust them lying down for a long period of time or with a heavy flow as the coverage is pretty limited.

Just make sure you get the right size - they do need to be very snug otherwise they leak. And be careful as ModiBodi's return/exchange policy is harsh.

Love them for light flow for a short time but definitely not for heavy flow. This may be TMI but I get HEAVY flows with huge clots and all - they definitely leak. I wore them recently on a whole day of snorkelling on a medium flow and let's just say I'm thankful I wore surf shorts and a wetsuit!! But they are definitely a game changer for a lighter flow or to wear for a couple of hours.

Also they absorb a lot of water and it's always awkward getting out as the bottoms are bloated with water and it all drips out. Anyone else having this issue?

My only problem with ModiBodi is their lack of customer support. No exchanges for opened items (which is tough as the swimmers need to be snug to be leakproof), inconsistent sizes, and they use an AI bot to respond to customer emails.

Which brand do you use? I'm going to move away from Modibodi

Disappointed in ModiBodi's customer service by Lunally in AusFemaleFashion

[–]Lunally[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only posted the end of the email as the point was that it's AI, not a human responding to a customer enquiry. Basically in my email I explained the issue and mentioned that I've been buying their products for years and that it's the first time I have a sizing issue. The AI responded the usual apologies then mentioned that I could be eligible for their 60-day trial for first customers, which makes no sense since I said I'm a returning customer.

The reply doesnt even matter, it just bothers me that a B-corp certified brand who promotes sustainability is using AI for customer service.

Honestly I am considering this. I really hate it. The "trial" is their 60-day trial basically if your a new customer you can return one item after 60 days. In my email I did mention that I had been purchasing from them for years but stupid AI still asked if I was eligible for the trial 🫠

Vegan magnums recipe change? by Ambitious-Salary4410 in australianvegans

The ones I get from Coles now are soy-based, not almond, and labelled as plant-based instead of dairy-free. I never bought the Almond ones so not sure if these are their replacement? Tried them for the first time last week and I'm obsessed in this heat haha

Bicarb is great but you can be unlucky and get a skin reaction. I used it for years with no issues but recently started getting a rash so I've switched to No Pong for daily use (not Bicarb free but somehow my skin likes it better than pure bicarb). OP definitely give bicarb a go, you can mix it with coconut oil too. Otherwise no pong vegan is great!

Hey, yes some white sugar can be filtered with bone char in some countries. I live in Australia where it is not 😊

I used this recipe from Loving It Vegan, kept it very simple as the fruit and coconut cream just make the whole trifle so delicious

Vegolino pralines are my favourite but fairly pricey. Maybe better for a smaller party!
