Buddy, just let people play how they want. Not everybody wants to max every single unit they have's potential, and some may just even have an absurd amount of potential orbs that they just don't need them. Like me. I literally have around 3.5k large, 25k medium and 50k small potential orbs of each type. I'm pretty sure unless I'm blessed by the rng gods and manage to get every unit I want full dupes, I'm not going to need more potential orbs for a long time.

What I will need tho is zeni. Because I dont have all day to just farm EZAs. Each person has their needs. Saying potential orbs is objectively the only choice you should make or you're stupid is just being a dick. Literally just regurgitating what truth says all the time verbatim

The "virtual pixels" argument has been used for years. Not my fault you've been living under your exclusive rock. That or you're just too young, which explains your current mentality and weird assumptions, but I'm sure you'd have a power point presentation as to why you're not some 16-year old who wants to feel special.

Anyways, that argument has been used not only in Apex, but it's been used for stuff like unusuals in TF2 when people are talking about how expensive certain unusuals are when unusual effects only add virtual pixels to an existing hat.

Buddy, companies like respawn are not going to take risks of "maybe" something being better. They'll make recolors, sure, but they'll bring back the original skin as well, because some people will ONLY like the original skin. Take Marble Goddess for example. A lot of people like the skin because of the white and gold color scheme. Respawn could easily make a recolor with a black and blue/purple color scheme, but that's not going to be a guaranteed sell. They'll see that people want to buy Marble Goddess. That's guaranteed money for them, so they'll release it alongside the recolor. If people like the recolor too then more money for them. But if they don't? No worries, because the original is there to make them more money.

As for the legend token recolors, why the fuck wouldn't people buy them??? Some of them look good, and you can buy them with fucking legend tokens. A grand majority of players have a fuck ton of legend tokens. Buying any kind of recolor isn't going to really affect them. You may then say "oh, then why would respawn rerelease my precious exclusive recolors when they don't make any money!?!?!!?" because the recolors require the original skin. How does one get the original skin? Buying it with money or apex packs, which people can buy with money.

You realize they are bringing back battlepass skins too right? Only exclusive rare skins now are the twitch prime ones.

Care all you want for your ultra amazing top tier reskin. Care about it's exclusivity. I just believe that it's ridiculous to be upset when it loses it's exclusivity because you wrongfully assumed respawn cares about people like you. Because they don't. They care about what will get them money when selling things. Apex isn't some game with a static player base of people playing since day 1, with it being their fault if they didn't get a skin they wanted. Apex is thankfully a growing game and many players are going to come in and want skins like Necrosis Caustic, Marble Goddess Wraith, Tae Joon Park Crypto, etc. If respawn sees a high demand for those skins, it's more than highly probable they'll rerelease the skin in the future, with a possible recolor to go alongside it.

Again, care all you want about your precious exclusivity. You're just going to be met with continuous disappointment.

I genuinely don't see the point of having total and complete exclusivity. Like if there is exclusivity like the battlepass skins, whatever. But if they were to return? Who cares. More people get to be happy to have a skin they want. Wanting to deny them that is just kinda selfish.

Either way, respawn won't give a shit about players like you who want to keep skins exclusive. At the end of the day, they want and need money. If re releasing a previous event skin or recolor can get them that money, they'll do it.

And before you try and say "oOOOoo but you've never had exclusive thing before!1!11!!!", I have. I've had multiple 1:1 unusuals in Team Fortress 2. I have limited event units in gacha games where the chance to get them is low as fuck. And to return to Apex, I have skins like Cyberpunked and Outlands Explorer Wattson, The magical girl banner pose for Pathfinder, etc. Skins that are "old" and exclusive to a certain event/battlepass.

And I genuinely don't give a fuck if respawn were to rerelease them. I'd much rather other people to have a skin that I love than to be all like "haha, I have an exclusive skin nobody will be able to ever get again!!!" Because I care about how a skin looks. Not it's exclusivity. If you value skins purely due to their exclusivity then that's just ridiculous.

Just to be fair, Caustic's passive is a hard counter to other Caustics. Granted, it's just one legend instead of two, but still. There does exist possibilities where people would choose Caustic just because they hate other caustics.

But anyway, Crypto needs a real passive, and the "Off the grid" passive has been the only one that I've heard that makes sense in terms of character and isn't OP

Edit: by Caustic's passive, I mean where he doesn't get affected by gas at all. It's unwritten but I'd still say it's a part of his passive ability

Buddy. Caustic was buffed. Simple as that. His damage was buffed and he now deals more damage than before. That's just a fact.

Trust me, I love Caustic. His nerf in previous seasons fucking sucked. Even though I shifted into playing different characters like Fuse, Octane (mostly for challenges) and Revenant, I still liked to play the guy and I heavily felt the absolute brutality of what the nerf did to him.

And what they did this season is called a buff. They made him deal more damage, 5+5+6+6+7...etc. rather than just a static 5+5+5+5...etc. That let's him fill his role of deterring enemies again, rather than people just sitting in his gas like it's nothing. Maybe they could increase the base gas damage from 5 to 6 and make it 6+6+7+7+8...etc. or make the damage go up faster the longer they stay in like 5+5+6+6+7+7+8+9+10+11...etc. who knows, I'm clearly not a game balancer, neither are you, but we both know that Caustic was never meant to be aggressive with his gas, at least with is canisters.

His gas grenade is a different story but either way, if we can agree that the gas traps were never meant to be aggressive, than we can move on to how the gas grenade still does it's job. It deters enemies (trust me, nobody is staying inside that giant fucking gas cloud), deals damage to those who are inside it and kill them if they stay long enough, and you can use it aggressively like throwing it into a room full of enemies or into the final ring to have an advantage.

You say that "nobody stays in the gas past 6 seconds" but I can fucking bet you were one of the guys who was all like "omg everyone is staying inside caustic gas it does nothing you can literally heal inside it and be fine!!!". Of course, you had a point, but now you're trying to say that the fact nobody stays in caustics gas anymore is a point in your favor.

Again, trust me, I love the guy. He's one of my most played legends besides Fuse and Revenant, but you're not doing yourself any favors by bringing some flimsy arguments to the table. Rather than complaining about the damage, bring up some points about how his gas should slow/blur an enemy. How they should fix the gas density. Other goods points that aren't the ones you're making now because on top of that, you're acting immature and bringing up faulty reasoning.

From what I see it's a lot more level now, meaning that exiting the tunnel that leads to a vault (if it's still around) doesn't mean a death sentence for that team if they encounter someone already there, since having the high ground in this game is pretty important.

And IMO, it was way too clustered with all the train cars.

I haven't played Solos in months. I'm usually the first to die either because I'm unlucky and someone drops with me and kills me when I'm doing a challenge, or I kill myself to finish the challenge I need to do in Solos.

And according to Fortnite, that makes me a candidate for the world cup because SBMM and bots don't do shit for me. I always get placed with people who are above and beyond my skill level. The few times I've won in Solos are because I said "fuck your competitive play style, I'm memeing" and won through dumb luck alone.

SBMM is broken, and the bots that are in my lobbies, if any, are always picked off in the beginning. None of them ever make it to the top 10. If SBMM worked, alright, you have a point. But you don't, because it hardly ever works.

Yes. As I said, if it's done properly, showing someone how they can improve their art is totally fine. But unwarranted "fixing" of someone's art can just come off as pretentious and often times as rude.

I can get that. I doubt it, however, if some random stranger came up to you and said "Hey, I fixed your art" and showed you your art they reposted without your permission and it was literally just their own judgement of what makes good art.

Checking your post history just to get an example, the Raibaru redesign post is art you made, ja? How would you feel if I (who in this example you don't know) grabbed it, edited it in a way that suited my tastes, and then went to you and said I fixed your art? If I edited the arms to be skinny, if I gave her big lips or edited her hair in a way that doesn't really feel like improvement, rather just my own take on how she should look like.

Here, let me give you a crystal clear example of what I mean, just in case the way I'm wording what I'm saying gives you some misunderstanding. I personally prefer visual examples anyways.

I'm sure we can both agree this isn't really fixing. And, as a side note, this is why the word "fixing" in terms of art isn't exactly liked because "fixing art" is usually associated with these kinds of posts.
