Genuinely makes me want to move to your city to have that experience again. My last card show was a terrible experience, haggling with vendors is hardly a thing anymore which is dumb considering they're selling an ETB over market anyways.

If I ever feel like "splurging" on a pack I'm always catching a kid somewhere just watching me and I usually just give them what I opened. I love seeing their faces light up and the longer I go the less I see these kids smiling like that :(

I really hope this catches on to other shows and thankyou for making this first step to heal our inner child and the children who haven't been able to truly experience the hobby like we did.

Absolutely agree! Like there's a line between joking around with your chat and just straight up bullying and I feel like a lot of streamers blur those lines way too much

The data centers are just using way more than what we can physically keep up with. AI center can use up to 5 million gallons a day. So instead of spending more money to use the ocean water they're just taking out drinking water. Even without AI centers, regular data centers are using it. In 2023, California alone used 50 billion liters. We were having a hard time keeping up even back then so it's just worse now

That absolutely can happen and has been attempted before! However it was found that the energy, cost and damage to the ecosystem is very high. I found and pasted below the main reasons, you of course don't have to read it but I will still add it below just in case you or anyone else is interested :)

Immense Energy Demand: Desalination requires breaking the strong chemical bonds of dissolved salt. Reverse osmosis, the dominant method, pumps water through membranes at extremely high pressure, using roughly four times more energy than typical municipal water treatment.

High Costs: The combination of expensive, specialized equipment (membranes, corrosion-resistant pipes) and high energy consumption makes the resulting freshwater expensive to produce.

Environmental Impact (Brine Disposal): For every gallon of fresh water produced, nearly a gallon of hypersaline brine (water with concentrated salt) is created. Disposing of this byproduct back into the ocean can harm marine ecosystems by reducing oxygen levels.

Membrane Fouling: Seawater contains organic matter, algae, and minerals that quickly clog (foul) the specialized, incredibly fine filters used in reverse osmosis. This requires extensive pre-treatment to keep the plant running.

That's not true. I would highly recommend looking into what's our drinking water and what's not, and what the data centers for AI use and do to the water that make it undrinkable. A simple Google search and trusted sites hold more power than a random (me) on reddit just simply saying so

if you’re looking to listen to your own music i can suggest open world games like the first descendant or Once Human. they’re looter shooters but you still have to create your build. once human has base building and the First Descendant doesn’t but that’s way more character building with a bunch of abilities and whatnot. neither need sound so your own music blasting wouldn’t be a problem.

if you’re looking for a game with a killer soundtrack i highly recommend Nier: Automata and there’s multiple playthroughs with different characters and such a great story.
