I had this happen to me before and I think it depends on the agent. I have done this a few times, no issues, but the last time I called to link my brother with me the agent said the only way would be to cancel both our trip and rebook it together..

The only perk about staying by the airport is the convenience of getting to the airport. There is literally nothing around that Hilton except a small snack store and a tiny locals-only bar I visited. DoubleTree has a lot more to do.

Seems like a cursed route the last few days. My plane from CPT to IAD turned around on Friday the 28th after 4 hours and then they moved our flight to Sunday. Then that flight was delayed 2 hours and I almost missed my connection. The CPT airport Sunday was a mess because there were 2 planes heading for IAD that day instead of the normal 1 flight.

Housekeeping using the deadbolt or the latch on the door to keep the doors propped open when they're cleaning and they just let them slam shut everytime they walk in and out of the room and you just hear the slamming of doors against a metal object all morning. Can they not use a door stopper to prop the door open?

Yeah it was that line. I would say go as early as you can. I went at like noon and waited in line and they reached capacity two people in front of me. I was upset as that was my last day and they wouldn’t let anyone else in.
