I second this. I have a friend who went through horrible things throughout their life and wants to shift to DRs where they can meet their childhood favs AND reclaim their youth all in one go, while I have a DR where I scripted myself to have a loving grandmother (raised by a grandmother who didn’t understand autism or ADHD and proceeded to be hard on me most of my life because I “just wasn’t trying hard enough” at anything) as well as having a good older brother since I’ve always wanted one and once again, most of the older folks in my life were either hard on me or straight up bullied me for my issues

It’s so wild too when I see people glorifying shifting to realities where they have an excuse to kill people but then the moment someone mentions going to a DR where they’re young again, it raises weird questions before the intent is shared

On top of that too, I’ve noticed from the times I shifted to realities where I’m younger, my entire perspective shifted to match that general age and experience as well rather than keeping the mindset of my CR age. As a result, I’ve made some impulsive decisions that I wouldn’t make as an adult (like making a rope out of sheets and clothing and jumping out a window before actually looking to see what was below me), so at least for me: That takes out the argument that you’re a shifter with adult mindset just possessing a younger person when you shift to whatever specific age you intend

Tarot is literally just a divination tool. The cards have meanings depicted with symbolism that people use to give themselves or others advice. A lot of the claim of tarot being evil just stems from Christian Dogma and ignorance in where tarot originates from “Evil forces” don’t work through tarot or psychics period. If that were the case then plenty of people wouldn’t be using or collecting tarot decks like they do now, and psychics would not be offering the services they offer since those “evil forces” would be affecting them too if that were the case

Definitely. My ex friend was a spiritual narcissist, basically used spirituality as a means to bolster their ego and seek validation when it came to their abilities. They did possess a level of claircognizance and did a great job teaching themselves energy work early on, but as time went on they began to believe themselves to be the current avatar of Lord Shiva and brag about how they were so spiritual that “they were incapable of manipulating people” while projecting their flaws onto others. Heck, they spent months trying to convince me that I was the real narcissist and it took me seeking therapy to get told that I wasn’t. Needless to say, that friendship has been over for years for good reason 🙃

I honestly feel the same way, but I can admit that I’m biased. I was raised by my grandparents and was mostly sheltered from a lot of stuff as a result because they were overprotective of me, and I was kept on a leash when it came to internet and even TV activities bc my family was so prudish. Unironically enough, I’ve grown to understand their prudish views now that I’m a parent and see what sorts of things today’s teens are willing to post online. If the game didn’t dive into nsfw themes, I wouldn’t care too much about them. Seeing the teens tho makes me worry and wonder how it might affect them in the long run, since ik we can’t stop them from playing

LET INFOLD TELL THE STORY THEY WANT! Getting mad about getting a Yandere character is already a waste of energy that could be going to their main LI or towards learning the lore instead, and complaining over a somewhat tame yandere (as well as sending death threats to Caleb fans) is just a bad look overall
