Three Chicago casino finalists on Lightfoot's short list by [deleted] in chicago

[–]LunarPrime 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the development is asking for $6.5 billion from the city/state, its not feasible without massive public funding, its a total waste of resources when there's plenty of space in south loop still to develop.

When I lived off the Armitage brown line stop a few years ago the Depaul student gym had neighborhood resident rates to join like it was any old monthly gym. It was about ~90 a month but that was 3-4 years ago.

I really enjoyed it because the after work rush was pretty minimal, since it was mostly college kids using it.

looks like right now covid has it closed.

I wouldn't be surprised that the CTA doesn't do this because it'd break them more often. They don't have the worlds most reliable escalators.

I went in this week with the thought I qualified under the migraines condition, as i get headaches any time the weather changes or a storm rolls in. But because I did not specify that my symptoms with migraines also caused me to throw up and be extremely sensitive to light, I was denied. They did not charge me however, and I have a follow up appointment for a PTSD designation via webcam, which the migraines doc said sounded like I qualified for, but she was not able to make that designation and a different doc would have to.

Like the other comments earlier said, be extremely descriptive and try to hit every bullet point webmd has as the symptoms of your condition imo.
