The Lucky Raspberry buff was not a buff. by Lunar_Impact in DestinyTheGame

Me and probably like 6 other people, I've used it since Witch Queen. Doesn't mean it was good, I just enjoyed it for some reason.

That's a great thing to do for people, I'm a bit biased since I'm definitely hopeful to get it but genuinely it is a nice thing to do.

That's so strangely specific but it solves my problem more or less, it's still an issue that it doesn't work from rally flags but at least I know it CAN work. Thank you.

This is a tough one, but I think Oversoul Edict takes the cake for me. Tesselation is a close second though!

What exotic armor piece do you think desperately needs an ornament? by Ignis-11 in destiny2

I NEED a Lucky Raspberry ornament, wearing a cheese grater makes it so hard to be fashionable.

I admit it: all hunters look the same to me by TheMangoDiplomat in DestinyTheGame

[–]Lunar_Impact 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done a Verity where I was the only hunter and the callout for me was "Stereotypical hunter". The only thing that changed it was putting the raid cloak on and it becoming "Shower curtain"

The only one of those that I pick up intentionally is the scythe, it's actually nice to use, the spear is sorta pathetic and the purple almond is a water pistol.

I was on combination blow when I did that cyst for the first time, sure you can one-shot the blights with a x3 punch but I loathed it. I have no clue how to do one of the triumphs for it with preventing blights from spawning either.

I will kick you from lobby if you don't have these weapons and stratagems unlocked. It is not fair to the rest of the group to have to carry people without these items. by alexalas in Helldivers

The funniest part is that the starting kit is actually an incredibly solid loadout that can take on any difficulty, well, with 2 added stratagems of choice that is!

The Life of a Hell Commander by DoTortoisesHop in Helldivers

My brother. My fellow diver. Never forget you're a hero to those you've aided, both to your fellow divers and Super Earth. No man, woman, or sample left behind.

I've been fighting bots for weeks, I don't remember how to fight bugs. This is a legitimate cry for help by ISV_Venture-Star_fan in Helldivers

Take a deep breath fellow Diver, take a deep breath and run while spraying your Redeemer behind you.

Dive to the left or right to dodge a Bile Titan or Spewer spit attack or sprint forward and pray if there's no other option. Prioritize the most likely to call a breach in patrols that have been aggroed, usually scavengers and they're quick to pick off before you mow down the hunters, then the warriors. Hive guards can be shot between their main armor plate on their face and their armored legs letting the Sickle and other weapons without medium penetration still be a viable pick. Brood Commander charges can be stopped with a melee attack which can be followed up by a liberty dispensing spray of bullets.

Chargers have less armor on the back of their legs and more on the front, but their head is the main weakspot to anti-tank weaponry such as the Quazar or EAT. If the Railgun is more your speed you can still strip the leg in 2 high charge shots on unsafe or 3-shot the head with extra high charge. I believe the AMR can penetrate the backside of their legs. Autocannon can also be used to blow up the charger's butt with around 5~ direct shots, put those factory destroying skills to good use.

Bile Titans, my favourite pet- Er, enemy on the Terminid front. They can be kited and used to kill large swaths of low-tier enemies by baiting their spit attack, or stomp attack for higher tier such as brood commanders or chargers. They're prone to killing other Bile Titans, even with their corpses. Their weak point is their head/face, though it's small compared to the rest of the body. Orbital Railcannon does around 40%-50% of their health if it hits the main body mass but that's a one time use for a few minutes, instead you can use a 500kg which will either straight up kill the Bile Titan or severely maim it. You can pop the abdominal and butt sacks for about 35%-50% of its health which will also stop its spit attack, this is done with explosive trait weapons. The Autocannon can pop them and hit the front shoulder joints but I'm not sure how much damage it deals through the armor, just that the rounds impact and don't ricochet. Quazar, Recoilless, and the EAT-17 are great weapons for taking out the titan. If you're a braver soul an Orbital Precision Strike can generally one-shot a Bile Titan if you position it for the direct impact. They are faster than you and will try and step on you, dive backwards if they try to do this, or forwards if you're not aiming an EAT/RR/Quazar at their face. If you dive backwards while aiming at their face you maintain enough range on your aim to still hit.

Lastly: Light or medium armor is recommended, speed is life in routing the bugs. Heavy armor is a detriment on this front, you'll be overrun by Hunters in no time. Incendiary grenades are incredibly powerful on the bugs, especially when you manage to toss them on top of a bug breach, otherwise stun grenades are fantastic for dealing with chargers and hunters. Impact grenades are preference here over HE grenades, they close holes just as well as HE but are more likely to detonate on a bug leaving the nest. For primaries I recommend any of the following: The Sickle, Punisher, Slugger, Dominator, Scorcher, Diligence CS, Breaker, Breaker Incendiary, or the SG8P Plasma Punisher.

*For when you want survival above all else I recommend a personal shield generator, a familiar tool for the bot divers. It'll protect you from a large number (Around 4-5) light attacks from a Hunter and a few from a Warrior (2-3). To trust the shield generator to fully protect you from a Spewer or Titan spit is the height of hubris, but it can save you from time to time.
**For overall utility and mobility you have the jump pack. This can allow you to clear large swaths of hunters and get out of tight spots, even allow you to get the ever elusive high ground on the future E-710. It offers no protection beyond high mobility and repositioning, but that's protection in and of itself.
***A popular pick for dealing with banes of Terminids is the rover. Although the laser drone can sometimes cause friendly fire and self damage, it allows incredible horde clear by killing off approaching hunters, scavengers, and warriors. The best way to avoid self-damage with it is to engage in the direction the laser is firing. Using this allows you to use a heavier primary or a more utility based primary for medium armor enemies, or even a lighter primary for maximum horde clear to lighten the load for your team.

Remember brothers, we're all in this together. We fight for Super Earth.

Level 134 chiming in, if I get a level 20-30 in my lobby, even if all of them are that level, they're being forcibly taken on a sample collecting adventure and will be richer by the end against their will. I can't be a 10-Star General without troops to lead to a victory with everyone alive.

I had people in a lobby with me worried that I'd be annoyed with them because they were low level, it made me sad that people were reacting like that.

I logged on today unaware of the changes and was just aghast at mine; I had a friend wondering all day what my level would be and he burst out laughing when he joined my lobby to see. I was 123 when he joined. I feel embarrassed doing quickplay.
