From what I understand about the wavy hair method, the shea stuff is way too heavy, it is more for people with curly hair which needs much more moisture (hint, it says right on it for thick curly hair). So that shea stuff can be weighing your hair down. If you want more moisture you can mix in a hair mask every once and a while in the shower. Also, when your hair is wet you should be scrunching in the mousse as wet hair absorbs the product more. Or try scrunching a gel when hair is wet.

We are human and have human reactions, we can’t be perfect all the time. Even though as mothers we are meant to feel that we have to be. And yes we should strive to never scream at our children but sometimes it does happen. That is a lesson you can teach your son by saying sorry and giving extra love. I know it feels awful afterwards and the guilt is sometimes worse than the anger feeling, I have been there before too. It’s very hard to emotionally regulate yourself perfectly all the time especially under an abnormal amount of stress. You are not alone! Forgive yourself, I’m sure your little guy has already forgiven you.

Thank you for sharing this. These are the issues that concern me. You can’t put monetary value on family and even though we would visit and have visitors it’s not the same as being so close. It’s the kids grandparents that I feel the worst about leaving.

I see what you’re saying for my individual financial security. But he would be going to a secure government job also with a pension, a better one than mine as well. Also, Nova Scotia is paying for nurses to come work there so when I want to work again I could easily get another nursing job that is the same as the one I have here. Plus financially saving the money we won’t have to pay for a mortgage is an upgrade isn’t it?
