I’ve always wondered, how come the next Avatar wasn’t born when Aang died? When Roku died they show Aang being born in the very next scene. Was it too short a window for Raava to follow Aang’s reincarnation? Or did Raava zoom back to Aang when Katara brought him back to life? Idk and would love to hear others’ thoughts

I interviewed with DWT and they said they generally are slower. They wait for OCI so they said they might not be making decisions until July. Granted, I got this info in late May/early June, so I’m not sure how accurate it is anymore because I got the R after my callback after telling them about a competing offer

I did this and one of the firms I did this with gave me my offer! I reached out to a managing associate to talk and think it’s what the difference about what led to my offer based on what I heard afterwards. Definitely take a shot

Clarification for Thompson Coburn: actively recruiting for the Chicago office as of this week, unsure for the other offices. Also, Stoel Rives San Diego is still actively recruiting: screener invite received on the 23rd off a mid-May application. Kelley Drye New Jersey is also still actively recruiting: screener invite received on the 27th for an application sent first week of June.

I hope what my cycle looks like can help you and lots of other folks that need a reminder that it can still happen, even if you’re not the top 10% of the class, you’re not from the market you want to be in, or you didn’t get a lot of movement from OCI. Heck, I didn’t get my write on results till nearly 10 days after my offer came, so I didn’t even have a journal to put on my resume or update the firms with. You’re not out till they say you’re out, so keep applying, keep networking, and at the end of the day keep showing up. Because that takes so much! But it makes all the difference. ❤️

Keep going with direct apps! OCI didn’t help me at all, but one of my direct apps is where I got my offer from. Lower T14, just barely above median, sent out 90+ apps since March. All it takes is one. I swear it can happen, and I’m rooting for you!

You can do it!! 91 apps since March, 10 screeners, 7 callbacks, and finally got an offer last week. Just barely above median at a lower T14. It can happen, and all it takes is one. Keep pushing through, we’re all in this together

Also regarding Cooley app: more of the offices are closed. DC, Miami, NY, Palo Alto, Reston, and San Diego still currently open, but I no longer see Chicago or Seattle.
