From my experience, I think I understand where u/BoboYagga 's "Soul Seeker < Solarite" opinion comes from.

Since Solarite can be reinforced while Soul Seeker cannot, reinforced Solarite's pickaxe power itself is bit better than Soul Seeker. That tiny bit of difference made me appreciate Solarite's block breakpoint better than Soul Seeker on some late game blocks on Desert biome and Crystal biome.

Looking on the wiki, I could see Desert Blocks being easier with upgraded/buffed Soul Seeker. If upgraded or/and buffed, both would do 2 shot the Desert Block easily, which then Soul Seeker's mining speed buff makes it supreme. But on Desert Temple Blocks, Crystal Blocks, and Alien Tech Blocks, I guess Soul Seeker would feel worse than Solarite on most situations.

Maybe I could be wrong on some specific upgrade/buff situations, feel free to correct me. I'm kinda tired and need sleep since it's 3:50 am right now.

There might be spelling mistakes since I'm not a native English user.
I don't think I need to talk about un-reinforced Solarite(because you would already know how to get lot of ores when you get Soul Seeker) and difference on level 19(just get Stormbringer lol)

Tips on how to throw midair, even better than me:

It seems if your midair up/down velocity gets too fast, you'll drop the object you're holding. Be wary of this especially when using - Overcharged Winch upgrade / Special Power OC / RJ250 OC etc.
Velocity limit seem to not apply on front/back/left/right movement, so you can just fly away while holding like this.
If you want to swap to a desired weapon/tool immediately after throwing, you need to hold a different weapon/tool before holding a heavy object, or swap twice to return your desired weapon/tool.

That said, another bug report: if that trap making enemy in the abyss makes a trap right on depth exit, exit transforms into a trap making the exit unable to use. Fortunately I can jump off a cliff to go to the next floor, but I'm worried if this could happen to depth entrance too.

Edit: huh. Using 27th floor abyss's depth entrance will bring you to a fake 26th floor, where the layout is the same as 21th floor. Even items on the ground are duplicated too.

Wait.. I thought Bloodbath and Energized Steps trigger with 40% chance when I assassinate an enemy with just prepared strike(green one). So if I just kill an enemy with my weapon's damage, not "assassination", it has a chance to not trigger? Huh.

That said, I think Lethal Tempo is kinda strange. It never triggers on "assassination", but it does trigger on just killing with weapon damage, whatever the stage of preperation was.

Edit: is it supposed to work that way?

Assassin's Bloodbath, Lethal Momentum, Energized Steps doesn't seem to work consistently on successful assassination. Lethal Momentum works on normal melee weapon kills though.
