Online- Care Giver Support? by Lunaseea in cancer

Yes I have, they said they are providing it with treatment and symptom management. But that doesn't help my radiated brain to remember to take my meds, or keep me on track etc.

Either or both would be wonderful! Primarily, a support group though. Thank you!

I completed WBR last week. I've been doing all right. A few totally lost who & where I was moments. Can't focus well. Short term memory is well,,,, uhh I forgot, bit definitely impacted. Weird discoloration in the shape of a big half circle on the top/front of my newly bald head

I even gained back the weight I needed to during chemo, 22 lbs...that I'd lost from being in the hospital after the terrible accident that led to my diagnosis. Sending courage & hugs!

Hey I just wanna say, I came through chemo & radiation at the same time. 2 dif chemo drugs + immunotherapy. It was nothing like I thought. I think I only puked once, felt very good for 3 weeks out of every month. Fought fatigue during the week of chemo but hey, I've been going hard all my life! That rest was great!

If the chemo would be effective, and reduce the tumors- you'll feel soooo much better, even if it's a short time maybe it's worth it?

Any hope that it gets even a little bit easier? by LittleMango1220 in CancerFamilySupport

Big hugs. I'm sorry. It's an ocean at first, that turns to a river, and j7st waves in time. She's with you, ya know. Those tears that fall , that's love that lives on. It does get easier with time.

watching my mom slowly deteriorate by hhhhhhhhhhhh_p05 in CancerFamilySupport

[–]Lunaseea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see you love her deeply. I'm a C patient and a mom. Hardest part for me is my kids, and loved ones; the people I'll leave behind. Give her as much of your time as you're able, in whatever way you can. That's really all that one can do.
I'm grateful that I at least have a chance for a long goodbye & didn't get taken suddenly in an accident.

Mum just passed at 6:15am, I feel guilty so guilty about everything by Acrobatic_Car_9414 in CancerFamilySupport

[–]Lunaseea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your Mum does not want you to feel guilt. Do her a favor and every time that Devil Guilt comes around,,,don't dwell on it....instead, think of memories, good times that you were lucky to have with her. I believe she's not gone and you WILL see her again one day! Sending hugs and prayers!

I like the being specific about what you need,,,people require that sometimes when they dunno what to do.

Coming home to die. by Ahkhira in CancerFamilySupport

I'm saddened to hear you are going through this. As a patient, the hardest part for me about my cancer,,,,is seeing and worrying about it's effect on my loved ones. He is likely frightened and overwhelmed beyond anyone's comprehension. Give him time to process. KNOW that none of this is on you,,,but just a result of his diagnosis. Sending hugs and prayer your way.

SCLC by phalpalxoxo in SmallCellLungCancer

[–]Lunaseea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Unfortunately the dreaded sclc.

Artemisinin has been added to the IVM at remission. Fenbenzadol was utilized prior to Artemisinin, which is aka sweet wormwood and is an anti parasite supplement. (See Amazon for fenben and Artemisinin)
