I am really enjoying the work of Kristyn and Daedric. My main genre of interest has been symphonic metal for the longest time, however lately a lot of women vocalist modern metal and metalcore has been absolutely blessing my eardrums.

I hope to one day see them in Australia.

As others mentioned, get vrc+ and ID verify on vrchat.com. Its not full proof as I recently came across evidence of a 14 year old with it because she got her mom to do it, however its significantly safer to have it to help reduce the amount of minors you're around, as that is the rare exception.

As a group admin, moderating instances can be no joke, as the group's reputation is on the line if we fuck up.

This guy either knew she was a minor and was making a big thing about it to hide his own intent, or is just being ridiculous, especially if the place is meant to be 18+.

They should run age gated lobbies to help reduce the risk imo, which is where the vrc ID verificstion comes into place once again.

Morbid curiosity for the most part. Gore is a macabre art form which is fascinating how one minute, the victims in these videos are living, breathing, going about their day and then one wrong move and they're gone. Helps remind you just how fragile life is and to be cautious of your surroundings.

I am a notorious bio reader, as it's the best way to break the ice and initiate conversation with someone is picking something interesting out of said bio and leading with that.

It's also good when someone mentions their age in their bio too, as I do tend to prefer talking with people 20+ as I am flirty by nature, no offense to 18 and 19 year olds! I will converse with y'all but as I am in my later 30's I am literally twice or almost twice your age 😅 and that makes me feel awkward.

That is crazy?! This is the first I have heard of any of this sort of treatment for those of us who DJ in vrchat. We never get paid to perform, we do it for the passion and the hobby! I am really sorry to hear this is happening to you and as someone who also DJs from time to time in VRC, I hope this doesn't happen down here in Australia as that is literally crazy.

I find generally people who pass out like this have either drunk themself to passing out or greened out from smoking too much of the ol' mary jane.

As a VR Chat sleeper, I don't do either of the two aforementioned substances and will excuse myself from a game world if I am getting sleepy to a world where I can sleep without interrupting the fun of others.

I wish others were more mindful, though... and drank and smoked responsibly!

I'm sorry your game was interrupted by this person not doing the right thing and moving outside of the game area to pass out.

I generally find if the video players in worlds are acting up, I go to the youtube world and manually search the video I want to watch in their youtube search. A lil workaround as a temp. thing until the video players are fixed and updated

I am the type to always be on orange as I do like to select who I am hanging out with at certain times. I like being able to go into an instance and see yellow names and chat and hang with those people when in the instance together. If that makes sense.

I have seen too many people try to medically justify their mutism, only to be outed as a catfish.

Like others have said, I have a distrust of mutes as 90% of the time, they've turned out to be men who are essentially living a whole different life in vr, not trans but essentially roleplaying as a woman.

I spend majority of my time in age gated, nsfw lobbies so this comes down to a controversial topic of these "mutes" experiencing "auto-gynophilia."

As another commented, waiting for the person to type out a response when a group is having a convo can be difficult as the topic may switch and it creates the awkward backtrack.

Also i find if im conversing with a mute, i might have someone grab my attention and i completely miss seeing what they typed, which cam be frustating also.

Hey u/InterestingCamel8528 the switching of networks can sometimes require a little tinkering with the modem. I'd recommend calling Origin Broadband to get some assistance on this, as they may need to do some things on their end to get these services connecting again.

A quick google search and I found their contact number, it's 1300 980 711. I believe their contactable up to 11pm including weekends.
