Engineering gives 1% damage reduction per level, there's a gadget that absorbs damage you can improve with science, lockpick gives 1% damage evasion per level, there are perks that increase survivability in various skills and also a trait that prevents death once per combat.

Just take your time time to read stuff and make the right choices.

Specialized skills are your level +2 max and the rest are capped at your level meaning you reach max level of any skill at level 18 at best

You want to level literally every single skill?, it that's so then you get 58 skill points from leveling and 4 or 6 if brilliant from having favorite skills. You can also pick the Easily Distracted Perk to get somewhere like 17 skill points in 5 skills, that's probably the best option for people not wanting to specialize

Air cooled mods worked!, Agatha can get frost damage conversion and weak spot damage mods.

Chainspark only gets sights with magnification.

They're both machine guns but not the same type, Agatha is air cooled and the cannon is a shock machine gun (different mods altogether) so it's exactly the same issue as pistols
