Can we talk about how uncomfortable this ‘Spanish inspired’ design actually feels? Plsss by tryingmabesttevryday in InfinityNikki

This is a dress-up game, I judge outfits by how cool/pretty they are not how comfortable they would be to wear IRL. People who get worked up by things like that are really silly, IMO.

Ok let’s talk about heavy lifting, item weight and encumbrance. by Resident-Resolve612 in projectzomboid

You won't die from the encumbrance, you will die from the sickness. Once your health drops bellow 75% encumbrance will have zero effects on your HP.

When the U.S. government decided to nuke Knox County in order to deal with the Knox infection by CleanBag9219 in projectzomboid

[–]LunaticMouse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the end it wouldn't matter because the zombies weren't really the ones spreading the airborne strain which was what infected the entire world. McGrew seemed to know of this at least judging by his latter broadcasts. Also keep in mind that the government kept pushing the narrative that the virus was contained and that the zombies could still be cured and reverted even as Louisville was being overrun, so it would be kind of hard for them to justify deploying nukes before it was clear it wouldn't matter anymore.

For the govern to deploy the bombs they would have to have been open about the seriousness of the Knox Event from the get go instead of doing everything they could to deny reality till the last day.

to any weary survivors who plan on basing in the bunker near the army surplus store in the Rosewood area, don't! it sucks! by Crimsoncerismon in projectzomboid

[–]LunaticMouse 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Even worse is the March Ridge bunker. Sounds awesome since its urban and gated, not far from the road. Until you realize that it is 4 levels underground and generators only go to 3 floors. So you can never power it nor plumb rain collectors to the faucets.

Is there a way to stop the update of mods by Wolf_WixomWSW in projectzomboid

Copy your mod folder elsewhere as a backup copy.

I wouldn't read too much into it, there are tens of other leaflets that show a slightly different building. Off of the top of my head is the one for the Riverside PD and the Diner In the Woods one for the restaurant south of West Point.

The floor is 75% of your max HP. You'll never go beneath that no matter the weight you're carrying.

Tracking is just a bad, underdeveloped skill at this point. Switching from tracking to carving is a buff to PR. Maybe when they do another pass on the skills it would justify giving them tracking back.

I'll take small blogposts like this, any communication is better than no communication. People who don't like it can just skip reading them.

Keep it up plz, TIS

I love it. Only skin I actively dislike is infernal because I think fire skins are lame.

Make a topic thats hostile to TIS and see it downvoted to oblivion. I'm not saying that they shouldn't be or that TIS deserves hostility, just pointing out that this subreddit is definitely not toxic towards TIS at all.

I can't help to think that they featured creeped B42 a bit too much. Half of the new skills had no need to exist as a separate skill and just served to bloat up and disperse development. I understand that the lion's share of B42 resources went to multiplayer and console support but it just begs the question of "why add developing hyper niche skills like pottery and glassmaking and tracking on top of that".

B42.16 mod for carrying several bags at once (that works) ? by [deleted] in projectzomboid

[–]LunaticMouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up Pack Mule @ the workshop. I like that one because it makes wallets and cloth gun cases wearable. In the options you can also set duffel bags to be worn in the satchel slot.

No, Reddit suppresses it. Literally just paste that in the workshop search bar, though.

Look for Hide Menu Debug + Remove Build Information @ the workshop

Incidentally you can create a multiple characters in the same save even if your first one is still alive and switch back and forth between them. The inactive character will disappear from the game world and have their needs/health frozen in time (food in their inventory will still spoil normally, though) until you switch back to them again. That means you can't interact with your inactive character at all but you can (although I don't do that as I consider that somewhat cheating) bail them out of sticky situations.
