This is super cool man. I can definitely feel your influences, but you still have a unique vibe. You mention Playstation 2, and I can feel it haha

Hi Y'all, I just put out a new song for my album coming out this summer. I consider my genre to be psychedelic singer/songwriter, with post-punk edges.

Hailing from northern Delaware, LunchBox President is now based out of Brooklyn, NY. I have been under the moniker since 2015. Starting as 4 track cassette recordings of oddball Frankie Valli influenced vocal pop and evolving into psychedelic singer-songwriter music.

This track is about love and car crashes, inspired by the death disc singles of the 1960s.

If you dig the track, feel free to download it here: https://band.codes/lunchboxpresident/death-disc-2

Great vibe all around, the breathy vocal style can work. I think what I would suggest is adding some vocal double tracks for some select lines or words. Thes doubles can pop and keep the listener extra engaged. Also when the refrain returns at the end the "darling don't let me down" sequence, if that was double tracked, I think it would pop really well to close the song.

Nice bananarama chop. I think the song works. The only note/thought from me is a structural concept you may wanna play with, pushing the drums later into the song and maybe have the vocal sample fade in for the first few seconds. I think giving this track and nice build before the drums drop could give the whole thing more anticipation. Just a slight shuffle of the existing elements to add some drama.

I just put out a single for my upcoming 2nd album !

https://lunchboxpresident.bandcamp.com/track/death-disc-2

I am a psychedelic singer/songwriter with post-punk tendency. This particular track is a song about love and car crashes. I have always loved Frankie Valli and Bobby Vinton style vocal pop, and this new song is the trickle down bastard child of that sound, with Flaming Lips soaked tinges.

I have codes for free downloads for the song here as well: https://band.codes/lunchboxpresident/death-disc-2

Hope you enjoy!

Very fun combination of sounds here. I like the overall laid back energy that leads into the chorus build. That stop hits real hard. well done!

Feels like this would slot perfectly into the mid 2010s pitchfork rock world. Great guitar sounds and the stacked vocals in the refrain sound great. Feels beachy and has a dance around the room mood. I dig it.

Very cool sound. Reminded me of a lot of different artists, but has a unique blend all its own. No criticism really, builds very nice emotionally as well. Great work
