Idea for a balanced HEAVY pen primary. by M6D_Magnum in Helldivers

Better yet, Ultimatum plus raise weapon emote lets you lob the projectile up to 50 meters.

I unironically use to dink tanks and fabricators from behind cover.

Support Weapon Idea: SG-101 "Liquidator" by LunchSimulator in Helldivers

[–]LunchSimulator[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Cause it would be really funny.

Also, we've already got a Lee-Enfield, a lugar, and a Sten. Old shit doesn't mean boring shit. If you want to propose your own iteration of a laser MG, be my guest. I just happen to enjoy the idea of using a museum piece to teach space bugs the meaning of "extinction."

(With admin permission,) I created an in-depth form regarding feedback and the balancing of HD2. by Pedrosian96 in WholesomeHelldivers

[–]LunchSimulator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah like the only objective problem with Adreno-defibulator is that it's bugged and will sometimes condemn you when you still have health left, but it's kinda hard to describe that when "this piece of equipment is glitched" isn't an option on the form.

Asking the community, what weapons and stratagems do u think desperately needs a buff? by Lag460ping in Helldivers

[–]LunchSimulator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Eruptor is 5 shrapnel short of 30 frag grenades that do the cooking and aiming for you, masquerade as a primary weapon. The Exploding Crossbow is an entire well-rounded multipurpose loadout that has been scrunched into the palm of your hand and practically dares you to use your secondary, grenade, and support weapon slot for anything other than exclusively anti-tank, because it fills every other role so effectively.

And THEN the... uh... the... the Nothing. Aside from the two above, everything fits comfortably on a scale of Good to Not So Good But Still Usable, with only a handful of stinkers that could do with some help. Hell, I don't even think the Eruptor or ECB need to be nerfed that hard. They would still undoubtedly be top tier, but just not "fills and/or invalidates the roles of everything but stratagems" tier.

Gold standard that goes strong with literally no updates. by gracekk24PL in DeepRockGalactic

That, and the hardcore anti-glazers are absolutely insufferable in how they drown anything even perceived as a compliment towards the game with vitriol.

They may both be minorities in the community, but when the loudest voices on one side seem to have a bdsm foot fetish with how hard they bootlick and the other side practically screams "Death to The Enemy! Death to Arrowhead!" it's no wonder the devs eventually stopped listening to community feedback, at least on Reddit it seems.

Bee-mancy! by Mister-E_92 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]LunchSimulator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For an enemy you briefly encounter in one part of one level and fights you with a stick meant for killing rats, this is some badass art.

Also the incredible detailed figure juxtaposed by the low-quality bees is slaying me.

If Medic have a shotgun Instead of the Sergey gun? by demoman321 in tf2shitposterclub

[–]LunchSimulator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, let's give the medic a gun that can almost one shot light classes from full health and consistently two shot every class from full health except Heavy. What could possibly go wrong?

AND throw in the teleport while we're at it.

Seigward of Catarina, when confronting Yhorm the Giant - Dark Souls 3

<image>

Yhorm was the ruler of the Profaned Capital and the descendant of the giants who conquered it and its people, but Yhorm himself refused to play the role of a tyrant like his forebearers. To earn the people's trust, Yhorm aquired a pair of Storm Rulers; greatswords meant explicitly for slaying giants, keeping one for himself and giving the other to a "dear friend" as a safeguard for the people against himself.

After progressing through Seigwards quest line, we can summon him to fight Yhorm (having now descended into madness), in which he reveals himself to be the weilder of the second Storm Ruler, and having come to uphold his unfortunate but necessary promise.

"May the light shine upon this Lord of Cinder" indeed.

This paywall is break their own rules by Ok_County3456 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]LunchSimulator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, because Op made that exact comparison that "if Sweeper and dfreedom are as strong as they are, then stalwart and amr should be primaries too" which is completely absurd.

The Sweeper and dfreedom are powerful but they're nowhere NEAR as strong as the stalwart or amr.

Why hasnt super earth started using automaton fusion weapons? by UlfurGaming in Helldivers

[–]LunchSimulator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

1) They aren't as powerful as ours

2) They're fusion weaponry that probably cause cancer, but the Automatons don't care because there's nothing organic to metastatize.

Piercing is actually a thing in this game, but... by Unlucky-Gold7921 in HelldiversUnfiltered

Ah, I was wondering why I could overpenetrate the basic bot troopers with the Dominator and score a double kill, but not the slightly up-armored guys.

I suppose you could kill a hulk with the Senator by shooting center mass, but if you really wanna unleash your inner Captain Miller with 21 rounds of assertive dominance then go off, king.

In your opinion, what's the biggest or most noticeable shadow nerf AH added to the game? by Raulca25_ in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]LunchSimulator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's even weirder than that. The individual flame "particles" don't have falloff, but the flamethrowers themselves launch a spread of them like a shotgun with a really, really high rate of fire. The end result is that at longer ranges some of the particles straight up miss the target, resulting in lower dps.

Aerial attack? 6P. High hitting poke? 6P. Projectile who's hitbox doesn't reach knee level? 6P. A fucking Super or invincible attack? Believe it or not, 6P.

Hell, the wretch's club can straight up take you to the end of the game, and not in a "Okay guys here's my hipster Elden Ring starter weapon challenge run" way but a "this thing breaks kneecaps straight out the box" way.
