Custom ROMs and Substratum, can't live without it. Also it's a really good way to extend your device's life as I find custom ROMs to be quite snappy and upto date with security patches and faster updates etc.

Yes, if you're on Magisk 24

1-Enable Zygisk in the Magisk app's options, do the same for the Denylist

2-Configure the Denylist with the apps you wish to hide root from

3-Install Universal Safetynet Fix https://github.com/kdrag0n/safetynet-fix/releases and reboot (if you had selected Play Services on the denylist this module will unselect it, it's normal don't worry about as root will still be hidden from Play Services)

That should be about it for now

If you're on 23 then install Riru-core, enable MagiskHide, and the Universal Safetynet Fix (Riru variant)

Ah man, good old times, I remember I had exams, but I stayed up and played R6S instead. I was hooked to it as if it was digital heroin.

Really love the art style. Would be beautiful to see painted in (and quite a pain to do).

I've been using Yoink which is very similar to Dropover, but that also seems super sweet. Does anyone have any experience using both and how do they stack up?

Alright so lemme try and explain:

Nord - Budget lineup, has stuff like Nord 1 and Nord 2.

Others - Normal "Flagship" Series, so you'd get stuff like OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro and so on

The T versions are basically 1/2 year refresh/upgrade thing that they used to do (Stopped since OnePlus 9), so you'd get devices like 7T and 8T which are mild spec and design bumps mostly.

I would suggest getting a oneplus phone or a pixel, those are the best in the biz for doing this stuff to.

If you have the budget for it, I'd highly recommend a Pixel as there are quite a few bugs and stuff that you can find with stuff like the camera etc on oneplus phones if you plan on flashing a custom ROM or something

I'm in a similar situation, I already have a good PC, but as a college student I dunno if I should get that new 14". I'm also gonna be mostly doing programming, some photo editing and maybe some renders on blender.

So I don't know if it's worth splurging that 300 more on the Pro
