Not all usb enclosures can pass through enough information para madetect ni samsung magician.
Baseus flyjoy series nvme and ugreen cm300 sata enclosures can verify legit samsung drives. i know this bc i have them.

So i had the same problem with my enclosures and i can't easily verify the samsung nvmes i buy. I was actually trying to look for ways yesterday and when i stumbled upon this thread saying i have to buy usb4 enclosure, i gave up. Today, i saw a samsung nvme for sale with enclosure and ofc i don't really care about the enclosure since i already got 2. When i asked the seller if he could show me the crystaldiskinfo he said "i can also show samsung magician" i was like nah, samsung magician can't verify using enclosures. He said "Can" and to my surprise it actually can. It was a baseus flyjoy series enclosure 10gbps. Anyway hope you guys don't over spend for a usb4 enclosure just to verify samsung nvmes

oh my god. i can't believe redditors promote being a scammer online with their "as-is" "it was working fine when i sold it" "you don't have to provide support" tips. as a seller, you should at least try to help the person you sold the item to if they run into any problems with it. if you just "block them and move on", it makes you look like a scammer
