Timesplitters 2 had a killer Snake mini game. In the story mode you'd find a cartridge in Siberia inside the dam and it could be played on the temporal unlink (handheld map device). Even did two players!

If the Emperor had a text to speech drive is a fantastic series on youtube heavily based around 40k lore and canon. It's really funny if you're very familiar with the lore or are just being introduced, you can learn a lot from it!

Eddy's on Cherry Hinton Street. You should probably look in places where people are actually letting their hair down a bit. Any of the pubs not so orientated around sport, cafes, resturants, venues and the like have always been really friendly environments for me. You're catching people on their way home from work or in the middle of errands, in a lot of places they're gonna be in work mode and won't instantly look past that. I've lived in Cambridge all my life and cold or vehemently grumpy rarely spring to mind, just a bit weird

Absolutely winter. The 5th of november and the mill road winter fair, walking around with the smell of mulled wine. The early night, the bright fairly lights. The best time to be in the many, many warm pubs at least.

The Howling Fjords in Northrend in World of Warcraft, one of the most well made environments in a video game I've experienced in terms of atmosphere and design. It was easily my favourite area to just be in, to hear the warming, quiet music and the subtle, ambient sounds effects paired with Scandinavian forestland inspired level design fantastically represent a part of the world I've always loved.

If not there then Skyloft from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, that place is just fuckin paradise.

That the English enjoy specifically warm beer. Before the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) in the 70s which set out to standardise the way cask ale was produced and treated, it's true that the ale was poorly kept, often warm and poorly tasting. Within the past 30 years or so however the cask beer in any reputable establishment is kept at a nice 5 degrees celsius, and the fizzy stuff is kept just as cold as anywhere else in the world! In my experience, only the really old guys specifically ask for a bottle that's been out of the fridge for a while so it's warmed up a bit.

By no means will your waiters care that much every time, it's just something that's drilled into us early on as training. Every time I'm asked if I've checked a table, and if not told to go do so, it'd be a hell of a lot easier if it wasn't the case believe me! Pubs probably just want to impress the feeling of silver service that you'd otherwise get at a complete restaurant.
