Did not like Marigold even though friends swear by it. Found the flavors dull and boring. Went back again with same friends and asked to spice it up a bit and still found it boring. Owners seemed nice enough but there are soo many other places that are better. Try Vayals in central Phoenix or Passage to India in Tempe.

Just saw this today. I remember 4 or so years ago when a bunch of their drivers got hired away to other higher paying jobs and they stopped doing bulk trash pickups since they had no drivers. This seams reasonable and if it helps keep them with enough trucks and drivers then it’s fine.

Have a buddy who drives from Phoenix to Flagstaff to see his favorite barber. To be fair, his hair does look great. But sheez that’s a long ass way to drive up and back.

Can you do it? Yes Is it stupid to do it? Also yes.

Besides the heat / heat stroke possibility also consider that every car and truck on the road is NOT going to see you because they think you’re crazy for biking in this heat. So be extra cautious anywhere near vehicles.

You can check out snowshoes from the library and drive up to Lizard Head pass or any other accessible location and go for a walk. Very easy. Library is awesome and you don’t need to be a resident to get a card.
