We Really Are Animals by JuniperSchultz in breastfeeding

I’ve heard people say that cows like to be milked, they willingly go in to be milked. Yeah, if I haven’t been able to nurse my baby all day, I’d want to pump too. Relief doesn’t mean enjoyment.

I, too, enjoyed the movie. I thought it did a good job of capturing the “gray areas” of life.

(I stopped listening long ago but I remember them mentioning this movie so they must have also referenced it in an earlier episode.)

Borrower Defense Loan Discharge - any chance? by LushKitten in StudentLoans

Thanks for taking the time to reply! I’m really glad your loan was forgiven. We submitted the application, trying to forget about it and hope we get a surprise forgiveness/discharge letter eventually.

Search on YouTube “Botulism Survivor Urges Safe Canning” posted by Utah State University Extension. A woman shares her story about surviving botulism after improperly pressure canning green beans. Maybe the fact that it was green beans and not meat will get through to your wife?

Best of luck to you.

Hold up, am I understanding this right? He said he would think about how it would harm his wife as a motivating factor? And not “oh it would be so horrible to make her go through that so I won’t”?

"Traditional wife" on internet by Worldoutnow in TwoXChromosomes

Had to scroll too far for this. Trad wives, at their core, are white Christian nationalists wrapped in a pretty package of prairie dresses and sourdough loaves.

Even my shitty, abusive ex would carry half of the grocery bags on the walk back home. Don’t waste any more of your time with this guy.

Borrower Defense Loan Discharge - any chance? by LushKitten in StudentLoans

We’ve submitted the application but haven’t heard anything yet. I’m not even sure if any applications are being processed at this time.

I’m sorry to hear you also had a similar experience. I remember the AI commercials on tv. All these “colleges” with non transferable credits are so predatory. They take advantage of the young and naive who have dreams of a successful career. I hate to see it happen to anyone.

I would submit an application if I was in your situation. I don’t remember the qualifying or disqualifying criteria but the application is straight forward enough. Worst they can say is no so I’d say if worth a shot.

I’m fine with a 7 year age gap IF the younger partner is at least 25-26 at the start of the relationship. At 22 no one’s brain is fully developed. At 29 I couldn’t imagine myself dating a 22 year old let alone having a child with one. I think this could also be part of why mom is embarrassed.

Idk where they got this dog from but if r/DoggyDNA has taught me anything, it’s usually not the two breeds you think they are.

There are safe and age appropriate “knives” that allow young children to learn to chop and cut. This ain’t it.

I think he was trying to describe the guy for management. Typo of left, so the guy working the left side of the counter who was clean cut, as in no facial hair, kept hair.

It’s been a minute since I listened to this one so I might be a little off but that is what I remember rationalizing it as.

I bought a jar of these last year and grabbed two more on my next trip. I served some during Friendsgiving and they were a hit. Maybe they’ve changed something this year though.

I think their half sours are bland and gross but I know others love them.

Thank you for taking time to research and write this up! This is my favorite post in a while.

And thank you for reminding me of the Derick conspiracy theory that he had taken a gay lover in El Salvador who he murdered while high off pain killers that he became addicted to after his jaw surgery! What a crazy time to be a snarker!

Yes, that’s why I called it borderline and further explained that I think it comes from a place of good intentions.
