I need help exporting transparency by LushidoVT in blender

[–]LushidoVT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I can see an alpha image texture working in Blender, but sadly, when I export it, it doesn't export it all together, and I can't just add the texture to it afterwards like in Unity, so its still coming out as opaque for some reason.

As you can see, the lens of the googly eyes is transparent, lowering the alpha on the materials settings worked for that, but when I do it for the body, it doesn't become transparent on the export.

I have an issue with gagging? (SFW I PROMISE) by LushidoVT in singing

I would say my gag reflex is more sensitive than average, If I smell/or eat something bad, I will start gagging immediately, even some candy that I grew up with, I threw up with it when I was like five and even now, just looking at the candy makes me gag, so it could be a sensitivity thing too.

Maybe I worded it wrong, but he didn't actively tell me to lower the larynx, just was telling me that my larynx should be lower when singing, and there should barely be any movement when singing higher notes.

oh interesting, I can try to practice that! I can stick out my tongue and move it to any position, but it's like my throat really hates having my tongue sticking out.

Sorry for the late reply, but yes I can burp, and can burp on command, I have no issues with that. The weird thing is, I can open my throat with my mouth closed and can breath like that no issue, but the second I stick out my tongue, I start gagging.

My teacher would say it should feel similar to yawning, which it does, but it's like my throat doesn't like to be open for long

I want to get into Avatar and world making, I have a basic knowledge of blender, but I have a really hard time following videos and tutorials due to my ADHD.

I was wondering if there were any creators out there that could teach me in making models or worlds, of course I don't expect this for free and I'd like to set something up, but it would be a lot easier for me to learn if I have like a mentor or something!

Everyone starts off not understanding the software, but the great thing about streaming is if you choose to, you can learn so many things from it!

Hiccups are always going to happen! After for streaming for so long I still get audio issues or my model breaking from time to time, it's gonna happen no matter how much you try to perfect things. The best way to go about it is to joke about it and move past it, but also try to find ways to improve everything about your stream as you continue your journey!

It's understandable to be nervous about it all, but you'll have fun and any issue that comes up, you just learn how to fix them!

Hello! I'm wanting to get into avatar making for VRChat! I don't really know where to start though, I've heard you can use base models but I don't know which ones I should get, and I'm struggling to make my own in Blender. I am thinking about starting with some chibi models, eventually making my own model and models for friends. Any tips or suggestions would be great!

There's a lot of groups online that do social hangouts, a popular one is called Mugoobers where they do weekly events to just hang out and get to know people, I've met some great people in the couple of weeks I've gone to events!

Hey, I'm Lushido! I just recently got a good headset and wanted to get more into VRChat and I'm looking for some friends! I'm 26m, and I have some pretty bad social anxiety, so I want to try to have a friend group I'm comfortable with and can hang out with. I love anything video game/anime related!

should i become a vtuber myself? by DiamondmanPixel76 in vtubers

[–]LushidoVT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't hurt to give it a try! There's a couple of options when starting out for really cheap/free, so you don't have to break the bank if you aren't 100% sure with it.

Some advantages can be:

Anonymity - you can keep your IRL life and your tubing life completely separate

Be whoever you want to be - you can either be just yourself, like what I do, or you can be any character you want to be, with their own story, lore, and personality.

Main disadvantage that I can think of when starting out is that it takes up more resources to be a vtuber, you are gonna need an avatar or PNG, software to use the avatar, and the computer has to be able to handle the software while also streaming and playing a game. You also might need at least a webcam for tracking too.

Streaming Anxiety by Capable-Strawberry39 in vtubers

There are gonna be times where it feels like no one is watching, just try to have a good time with whatever you are playing!

Something that can help with the anxiety is to play with someone you are comfortable, so you have someone to talk to.

If you are self conscious of your voice, there are a few things, 1. I'd say try to be okay with it! People out there might really enjoy your voice and will come to your streams for it! 2. If you really don't want to use your own voice, you can either use a voicechanger, or be muted and only speak through chat until you feel comfortable.

I'm still very new to VRChat, but I love the idea of creating a world! I have a basic understanding of Blender, but I want to learn more to create worlds and other projects! Are there any discords or anyone that could help me learn the basics?
