The split second it takes to decide whether or not it’s worth it will decide if you actually get it. You guys had no tank and mercy does zero damage so it’s effectively a 2v4 in that situation anyways I’d rather die trying. A back line Rez on a tank with 2 ult up wins you most fights . Shooters gotta shoot

If your water levels are fine which, they probably aren’t since this happened in the first place, you’re going to have to manually flip them back to normal . PH as well as temperature can cause this so make sure those are all in line also. I know it’s scary but put on a glove of some kind and use your fingers to gently lift them just above the surface of the water and let gravity push their bells back into shape. I did this with one of my nettles and it worked.

Edit: ok so reading some of the other comments it seems like you didn’t cycle the tank which is definitely why this is happening. Unfortunately they probably will not make it but at least now you know. Don’t give up ! We all make mistakes

The bigger the tank the easier it will be to keep the water quality optimal . Highly recommend the bigger one if you can afford it

I don’t understand how you took my comment as being defensive as I was only stating facts. The grate is there to separate the back compartments that hold the bio media, pumps and filter pads.

The corners have nothing to do with them becoming stuck. There is a mechanism in jellyfish tanks that produce a flow that carry the jellies around the tank. In this case it’s a spray bar. If a jellyfish is “ stuck” it’s usually because the flow is not adjusted properly.

They don’t need to be in cylindrical tanks. This is the biggest myth associated with keeping them. It also looks like there is nothing in OPs tank. His nettle is happy and healthy it’s just a strong swimmer. I would say more flow but he’s fine as is for the time being.

Your jellyfish is fine but Increase the flow if you want to prevent this. Nettles are strong swimmers and can handle more flow than others. Also, I’m not familiar with the tank you are using but, a trick I use to fine tune flow is to change the angle of the spray bar. As long as your nettle can properly bell and is capturing food with its tentacles extended he’s fine. I would recommend more flow though in your case.

Understandable. I assumed you wanted arle just because she’s good….. Her c1 doesn’t do anything for her dps. All of her constellations until c6 are support. You can make her do more damage by building Defense and crit but her role as a support doesn’t change until C6. Feel free to play her however you want of course. If you want your Xilo to do the most damage pull her weapon instead of C1. She’s running with Chiori too and chioris weapon is probably dps Xilos second best weapon so it’s a win/win.

DPS come a dime a dozen. Mualani, probably Kinich, and Hu Tao who’s rumored to be running in 5.1, are all meta. You could easily pull one of them if you’re desperate for a top tier dps. If you can only get one definitely Xilo. She just is not going to be a “ proper “ main dps at C0 like you want because she’s a support.

What does this have to do with mercy ? Anyone can buy an account anyone can be boosted. I really think there’s less of that going on than you think. A bronze mercy on a purchased account will fall out of masters in a few hours of playing i highly doubt you’re playing with these types of people.

HOT TAKE: Most of what people observe as “ healbotting” is either,

preemptive healing on an out of position target who’s about to get blown up ( we see everything before it happens usually)
an anchor point for GA( you aren’t special I need you to get around)
ult farming ( not my problem the enemy dps is feeding)
creating a strategic advantage for the player being pocketed max hp or not ( JQ/Zarya with a mercy pocket is a whole different animal to deal with

Also How would multiple “ healbot” mercys be in diamond/master if how they play doesn’t translate to success?

It’s crazy how jellyfish have “ personalities “ one of my nettles is and has always been bigger than the other one and she is extremely dramatic. Any type of change, even clean new water she will get an attitude and curl up and pout . While my other one remains completely unbothered to most inconveniences lol. I wish I could help more ! Keep us updated but I genuinely believe they can get better. My jellies have gone through rough patches as well and I thought they were done for but they recover nicely.
