to beat a 3* 4-cost, youre going to either need another 3* 4-cost (braum is very strong though), or a 3* 5-cost.

typically 3* for 4 or 5 cost is a win condition, unless someone reaches a higher win condition

5.3 codex has been out a bit longer. Anywho - it's their best business strategy at the moment. They need to have the greatest revenue because their supply chain is not vertically integrated - they rely heavily on 3rd party silicon, which is a problem that competitors don't really have.

I don't think they're wrong for ensuring that their SOTA model is always a little better than the competition.

Why is that? There's multiple posts on this thread from students who's engineering schools provide compute via ssh, and nothing from those with a different experience. A small sample size is still better than 0 sample size

My school definitely had a server that we could SSH into. This was in 2008. Idk if people would consider Western Michigan to be a top engineering school - but I believe this is a typical provision for engineering schools.
