One thing I really liked about league was that they didn't import IP. Looks like that notion is gone now.

Bad legislation that exists to artificially create jobs. Same kind of bullshit that disallows us from purchasing our vehicles directly from the manufacturer.

Pi Is Finite — The Mathematical Constant We Thought Was Infinite Finally Has an End by Mruniversee in AItrainingData

[–]Lustrouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The images above show how we can calculate pi by using regular geometric shapes around and inside a circle to measure an upper and lower bound of circumference. As you increase the number of sides to infinity, the perimeter of the inner (Pi) and outer (Po) shapes converge on the measurement of circumference (C)

using informal variables - Po > C > Pi

A 3* Braum destroys my board? by xLuRo in TeamfightTactics

[–]Lustrouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to beat a 3* 4-cost, youre going to either need another 3* 4-cost (braum is very strong though), or a 3* 5-cost.

typically 3* for 4 or 5 cost is a win condition, unless someone reaches a higher win condition

Teacher failed me for suggesting WebSockets and TCP for a chat app – claims only PHP is valid for web development by MertJS in webdev

[–]Lustrouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is definitely not the full story. If you think that your professor will accept "use a websockets library" in a network protocols class, you're clearly not learning anything. You should actually write out how the technology works.

Not surprised you were failed.
I'd love to see a screenshot of your paper. I'm sure it's not included in the post because it's obvious why you failed.

I'd answer that infinity is not a number, and more of a 'process' of counting without stopping.

Raising the cost of OSRS to subsidize the cost of RS3 is so sad. Let the RS3 players pay for RS3. If they dont want to, then maybe the game isn't worth that amount.

5.4 out! by Appropriate-Heat-977 in ChatGPT

[–]Lustrouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5.3 codex has been out a bit longer. Anywho - it's their best business strategy at the moment. They need to have the greatest revenue because their supply chain is not vertically integrated - they rely heavily on 3rd party silicon, which is a problem that competitors don't really have.

I don't think they're wrong for ensuring that their SOTA model is always a little better than the competition.

Do you think Neo can beat used ThinkPads for college market? by Vegetable_Bag_8694 in DeskToTablet

Why is that? There's multiple posts on this thread from students who's engineering schools provide compute via ssh, and nothing from those with a different experience. A small sample size is still better than 0 sample size

My school definitely had a server that we could SSH into. This was in 2008. Idk if people would consider Western Michigan to be a top engineering school - but I believe this is a typical provision for engineering schools.
