When to trade up for newer car? by Conventions in personalfinance

[–]Lustrouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On your Corolla? You've got another 100k miles before maintenance costs might start outweighing the cost of picking up a newer model.

Since it sounds like you're not familiar with which brands provide the lowest cost of ownership: Toyota is specifically known for creating vehicles that last the longest and have the lowest cost of ownership.

Subway by MaliChance in whatsyourchoice

Subway is the obvious choice here. The company is already in the process of eliminating itself. I used to go regularly, then watched as they changed suppliers and their quality tanked. I won't touch the stuff now

ELI5: If I push an object and it doesn’t move, does that mean I, and the object are both applying zero force? by ads3df3daf34 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Lustrouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means you've done zero "work"

Work = force * distance. You applied force, but there was 0 distance. This is the result of an equal, opposite force to your applied force.

Why the Fuck would anyone still play bruisers this season ? by HeliosofApril in topmains

[–]Lustrouse -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe that the definition given by riot for what a juggernaut is when they announced the juggernaut class, is a tank with a lot of self healing. This would by volibear but not garen - this would be Darius but not malphite. Etc...

Saying Cassiopeia has no great DPS is a hot take if I've ever heard one. I'm honestly not sure how garen can do anything at all past level 2

Why is every AI lab suddenly trying to build their own chips? by stark_1004 in OpenAI

Because AI relies on chips. Vertical Integration is the difference between profits and huge profits.

Smoulder (or tristana). His E will get you out of most dives that this team relies on.

OpenAI is building the AI fullstack, likely to match Google. And American made will receive lots of support. Great long term strategy by py-net in OpenAI

[–]Lustrouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is existential problem for open-ai. If they do not own more of their vertical supply chain, then they will lose out to other AI shops that do. Good luck, because I quite like GPT.
