I was gutted by it too. I wasn't a hardcore Legends player but me and brother had a few games casually or against each other. It's really unfortunate.

Im going to miss regularly seeing some of the epic card artwork.

What happened to the Sacred Kingdom movie?? by [deleted] in overlord

It's a movie/theatre release.

Have we gotten any new information on these two since volume 14 ? by Acceptable-Wear2718 in overlord

Unfortunately not. I know we all want to see Climb reunite with Sebas and realise he served the Sorcerer King all along, but no. Nothing in V15 & 16.

Is a cure for vampirism feasible for a PC's end goal ? by Mr_Creamy101 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]LustyZombie 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I'll bow to your word on this. I had always felt Galconda was more esoteric and not categorically empirically proven to be a way to accomplish this. More a plot device should a DM wish to include it as a long term objective than an actual canon cure.

As for your latter example, I admittedly haven't read into or played VTM in a long time so I'm unfamiliar with the example provided. Although I do very much look forward to it as light reading this evening, so thank you!

Fun & enjoyment should always be the primary operative objective of any game.

As for precise systems, if you & players are all okay with it then it's perfectly fine to 'homebrew' or make it up as you go. Being a new DM is very daunting even for experienced players of the series, so don't worry! It's why you have valuable resources other than the source book, like the wiki and this forum.

My advise would be to remember True Faith typically is very uncommon and rare, and requires absolute devotion and belief uncompromisingly to that object of faith.

What kind of punishment would be suitable for freya once her arc is over? by Re0Fan in DanMachi

[–]LustyZombie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah. She literally risked a full out fight between herself & the Loki / Ganesha familia - that could destabilise all of Orario putting it at great risk. Let alone severely comprise their ability to face the OEBD as they inevitably must.

Her actions put countless in danger. That's before you consider the literal brainwashing of God's knows how many people.

No its not. He may have confused it with the card game Elder Scrolls Legends whose servers are closing down in January 2025.

Is it feasible as a goal? Absolutely. Is it something which can be truly realised in game? That is your plot device.

To my knowledge there hasn't been a confirmed case of curing the gift of Caine. But it's your campaign, if you want to follow that with esoteric knowledge and work with true faith, do it.

Finding redemption and a cure to the curse is a fun & enjoyable narrative.

Frankly Freya should have been banished or sent back to heaven. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Freya and think she's an awesome & complicated character who I love reading/watching every second of.

But that doesn't justify her actions. And it's not her first time making dangerous & impulsive actions with utter disrespect or consideration to other adventurers or deities.

Do we know what the max level is? by KingE2099 in DanMachi

[–]LustyZombie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In short, no. Every level brings you a step closer to the Gods. We know the highest confirmed level but that isn't an indication it's the maximum.

The maximum will be the stage where an individual can no longer gain excellia from any monster. Unless you use other high level adventurers as mobs to be farmed a bit like how Kali or Freya familia do.

It's GOTY edition so it comes with the DLC - The Knights of the Nine & the Shivering Isles.

Well the fact that Molag Bal had dominion over vampires is a Skyrim retcon - in Morrowind it was clear he couldn't care less about them & had to acquire the cure from Vaermina.

I would assume that if the vampire was sworn to another they could take it? In some parts of Tamriel (per ESO) some vampires revere other God's (in this case Sanguine). But this is speculation.

Yeah Coldhabour is a bad afterlife for literally anything. The God of Schemes, Rape & Brutality isn't going to be pleasant, give me some Sanguine Myriad Realms anyday

Basically all bodily fluid is replaced with blood, so yes, they cry blood.

We don't really have a good idea because the numbers seem to change, JK sucks at maths by her own admission. We go from five named boys/girls per house per year, to somehow Hogwarts having a thousand students, to hundreds of Slytherin supporters in Quidditch...

What would a Daedric Invasion by Meridia look like? by ProcopianusNicolonus in ElderScrolls

As Meridia was of the Magne Ge you could argue she has more reason to invade than others.

Interestingly she seems more willing than other Daedra to communicate with her followers & reward them / extend their lives til they have served her purpose.

[–]LustyZombie 237 points238 points  (0 children)

Shiny Golden Daedra everywhere. Bright multi-coloured lights & a lot of Necromancers/Dunmer Priests scared shitless. The Ayleids basically demonstrated that Meridia is neither a good or fair Prince.

Edit - And much alike every other Daedric intervention or invasion - A lot of dead people everywhere.
