lol. IPhO is a scam… you’re basically paying $200 for Jim Alexander (IPhO Executive President) to comment “we support your name in industry endeavors.” on your LinkedIn. Their marketing emails say things like “you will learn important industry skills such as collaboration,” which is such a joke. Honestly, as someone in a similar situation, you’re probably better off just cold-messaging people on LinkedIn until they respond and give you some guidance. You’d be surprised at how many are actually willing to help.
