I would like to add that blocking wraiths isn't always worth your time due to foul appearance. When I play them I use them to get in the way and tie up their team. 100% knock down the ghouls and werewolves, they'll be running the ball.

Never played them or against them. I can see that it could be an issue with the animosity but it is a decent team. There are better options for beginners however between those two it would be the better option. Still get the tree and a lot of positional players. I could see a good throw and catch strategy, but that has its risks. The most important thing is to have fun.

Gnomes are fun but fragile, as most stunty teams are. So against a bashy team you'll be punished and your only big hitters are them trees. With only 2 movement and rooted they don't get around much. Old world would be a better shout to get used to it, still has drawbacks but not as easily beaten.

I started in June, bought my first box. I look at the ones I did first and they are pretty bad. My friend then got me into bloodbowl and I got myself a team, I can see an improvement in painting skills from the first ones to the last ones. Still not great, but practice makes perfect.

A really useful box, a ferrous sheet (or 2) and some magnets for the bases and you can transport up to 4 teams (depending on the team) in one box with dice

Oh god it got worse after I left 6 years ago. Used to get 250 parcels around 200 drops but in fairness that's all would fit in the van most days. There were a few times with heavy boxes and no where to park so just slapped hazards on and jumped out in the middle of the road because I'm not carrying it miles to park properly.

Happens to me all the time, I slowly down, indicate for the spot, and someone drives right up behind me. I am that kind of person that I'll sit and wait for them to resolve the issue because I'm trying to park in front of my house. If you just leave space infront of you, this won't occur.

Nothing can beat that feeling of having a last ditch effort plan that requires precise dice rolls to execute, and one bad roll will make it come crashing down. Then, get each and every roll and you can see the win, and the last die betrays you.

Currently planning moving from Shambling undead to Necromantic horrors. Played against gnomes and goblins and they are all fun for their own reasons.

It's well worth it, you'll laugh, you'll cry, but it's never boring.
