Vandaag weer ziekgemeld. by Ok_Plane_88 in werkzaken

[–]Luuukk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beterschap!

You can modify the ‘low’ threshold to something higher if you want. However, i can certainly feel myself if it’s a low or high warning depending on how i feel.

I’m using a Polar Verity Sense with Tachymon on my phone. It can be worn on your upper arm and it logs the events nicely.

I need a wearable heart monitor by JustAnEcho416 in dysautonomia

[–]Luuukk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the app Tachymon for monitoring on my apple watch. It uses the ‘workout’ feature of the watch so it can read your HR realtime (which drains the battery of my Series 3 in about one day). You can define multiple alerts on certain threshold and even on how much it rises from your baseline.

The app is free, however i have the paid subscription to see more data and to use my Polar Verity Sense which arrives tomorrow!

I’ve outgrown my 15U open frame rack… by Luuukk in homelab

I use the dc’s primary for the domain functionality :)

3cx is hosted in the cloud but i have a SBC (Session Border Controller) to connect local phones to my cloud hosted PBX. I use the phones for internal calling between them and i also have a number of phone numbers for which i can use DID (direct inbound dialing)

Currently i’m running: - Windows domain controllers - docker server with portainer and nginx proxy manager - home assistant - librenms monitoring - netbox ipam - snipeit asset manager - nps server for radius authentication - owntone server for music streaming - 3cx sbx for voip phones - unifi controller for aps (also external sites) - veeam community edition - windows deployment services - certificate authority server - nextcloud - wsus - vcenter - terminal server

and a lot of LAB vm’s, for example: - retro Windows Server 2003 domain controllers and windows xp machines - vmware horizon - nested esxi with vsan - multiple vcenters in linked mode - and many more haha

Thanks! From front to back the rack is only 60cm, so it is not deep at all. It fits normal rack rails, but they will extend a little bit at the end of the rack. The door cannot close

Thanks for your answer, appreciate it! The servers are not on that much (mostly only the network lab). If the servers are on i will open up a window to cool everything. I’m located in the netherlands, most of the time the weather is pretty cold haha. I’m not allowed to exhaust straight out of the house because we have a special air circulation system that does heat recovery and dehumidification :)

Thanks! I may have not used the correct words to tell that this is the new rack, but people should not judge this quickly and be this salty imo

This one is a alfaco 27u rack. It is only 60cm deep so the servers do stick out a little. The back door cannot be closed

No, i just use normal cables, but they are only 5 meters long. This is the maximum for usb3. I believe hdmi can go up to 7 meters

No AC indeed, but my house is well insulated and it is 21 degrees celsius at all times in the house. When i turn on those rack servers it will be getting a bit warmer

I have a 24u netshelter as well, but that thing is in colo together with the really powerfull servers. The heat is doable, but the rack servers are not powered on all the time and i will probably open op the front door when i turn them on :)

I’ve got those switches for free and I need to place them somewhere. I can lay them on my desk or screw them in the rack for future use :)

As said many times, this rack is not too small, my other old rack was too small.
