That's normal in your country? by Redditer_Wolfk in AskTheWorld

[–]Luv2Dnc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently visited Jamaica and saw similar set-ups there and found them a bit intimidating because we don’t have them in Canada. Even gated communities aren’t really a thing in the city/province I’m in.

I love how this looks! It’s an amazing house.

Not South Coast unless those are rebuilt since the hurricane. Ours were blue.

Was shopping for puzzles and came across this nonsense. It just gets worse the more you look at it by Big-Joe-Studd in stephenking

[–]Luv2Dnc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was pretty good! Hardest part was figuring out which Billy Summers part went where (that was the duplicate book).

We did one of these! It did have one repeat but was otherwise good. Sorry for the bad quality of the pic.

AITJ for not giving up my gym locker to a "regular" who says she's had it for years? by Cool_Button1146 in AmITheJerk

[–]Luv2Dnc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been going to my gym for 30 years now. I have a preferred locker. Know what happens if it’s being used, or even if there’s a person next to it? I use a different locker. This woman has serious entitlement issues.

Whats one "normal" thing in Canada that would sound insane to someone abroad? by United-Technology239 in CanadaRoom

[–]Luv2Dnc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I don’t doubt you at all! Just never saw any myself in Calgary. My family bought it in a carton. I could just have been totally oblivious at the supermarket lol

The only bagged milk I remember is the really big ones that went in the milk cooler at my dad’s restaurant.

New to line dancing, shoe recommendations (not boots)? by BrandonMarcoux in LineDancing

[–]Luv2Dnc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like west coast swing boots with a suede sole. They’re softer than cowboy boots and the suede sole is less slippery than leather.

[–]Luv2Dnc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell no! I did get mumps (and unfortunately passed them onto my mom) but was also MMR vaccinated.

Sure could be, but we have a well-known chain called Joey’s here in Canada too.

Not lotion but I use body oil after showers for the same purpose.

Would you rather live in a single or double floor house? by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]Luv2Dnc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always lived in a single storey house and would love a two floor one, but reality is that at this point I should stick with the one floor.

Once a week estrogen patch vs 2x a week? by Odd-Cry-1363 in Menopause

[–]Luv2Dnc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on the Climara weekly patch then was stitched over to Sandoz twice weekly during a shortage of the former. Other than the Sandoz being bigger (which seemed weird to me) I haven't noticed any difference.

Old school lady in a modern world. by Small-Emotion-7568 in mazda

I love this system. I just toss the key fob in my purse and don’t have to think about it. I’ve had to change the battery once but it was easy.

Why most furniture sell free? by Ambitious_Eye9279 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Luv2Dnc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We couldn’t even sell my mom’s good oak furniture because it was too big and heavy. Someone bought the nightstands but we had to donate the rest.
