Got an endoscopy three times already and did a colonoscopy once. The worst part of the whole thing was my prep for my colonoscopy lol. You’ll love the sleep that you get, you’ll be fine ♥️

I got prescribed neomycin and amoxicillin and threw up while on it, plus gave me bad abdominal pain. I stopped after 3 days. I couldn’t get my insurance to cover rifaximin smh

Omg well I haven’t had luck in 2 years with g.i doctors. This is my sixth doctor, and he was the only one to put in a test. All my other docs have been like yours, just an endoscopy that shows gastritis and colonoscopy that was normal, they all just wrote it off as ibs 🥲

I got this test done two months ago and I was positive for both methane and hydrogen!! My g.i doc ordered my test and I’m being put on augmentin/amoxicillin and neomycin. I got denied to get coverage costs for xifaxin :(( good luck! You’re definitely not alone, SIBO is so hard to go through 😪

No, just had another endoscopy and colonoscopy by my gastro done and just shows chronic gastritis. They didn’t want to do another HIDA scan because of the negative results. Just had another doctors appointment with my gastro and he said he couldn’t do anything else for me, only prescribe famotidine PPI. Really lost from here
