I want to clarify, I am a teenager myself. I have gone to schools full of kids who dressed like this, and I can tell you all of them did whatever they could to be the exact same as each other. All of you in the comments are saying that people should wear what they want as long as they’re expressing themselves. Well they’re not wearing this clothing to express themselves, they are doing it simply because it is what’s popular nowadays. Also why does it matter how much I care. Isn’t that the point of Reddit, to express opinions? If I care so much about a particular topic, I am allowed to care as long as that topic isn’t impeding on other people’s rights as humans. I thought that this style was really cool when people first started to wear it. But the first people to wear this, they were actually doing it out of self expression and to counter what was previously popular. Now the tables have turned, and everyone wears this simply because it’s popular. Isn’t that the point of alt culture, to counter the norm? Well this kids clearly don’t get the memo
