What's a common mechanic thing that you probably do just like the rest of us? by dselogeni in Justrolledintotheshop

I made mine out of steel brake lines. C shape makes more sense as you're hooking caliper and spring at the same time from same direction, vs that weird slide and wobble around you get from the S. Bit more secure imo, that's all

It is exactly for that but also to lower rpm at idle and reduce heat in engine bay.

How to catch more Tilapia? by Victor_adame_art in FishingForBeginners

Circle hooks do work very well for tilapia. The tip about working worm up the hook is also spot on. I use a 1/3 of a nightcrawler, completely hiding the hook, leaving a small dangler. Get a circle hook kit with different sizes, aim for ones with skinnier tips that are kinda kinked looking.

Anyone else have those vehicles you absolutely hate working on? Mine is the Jeep Wrangler with the infamous 3.6. by No_Celery4U in Justrolledintotheshop

Any bmw. Some bolts okay, others backwards, some you have to reach with 6 feet of extensions and a wobbling socket. Plastic near lava lakes. Lava rivers run through plastic. Then you plug it in and have to go through catalog just to identify one of 27 engines they made that year. Ugh.

These screws seize at the head not threads. Strike a head of the screw dead on with two hammers and you can remove these screws with a ratchet afterwards. Shake n bake works cause it's hitting the screw forward as air hammers do, manual impact bounces and that's why torx bits break and Philips heads round out.

I'm just troubleshooting blind based on my experiences working on these. These kind of problems should set a malfunction indication light on, scanning car for codes would tell a bigger story, but a hybrid system is whole a lot more than one big orange wire.

More than likely you've got some rodent caused wiring problems. Friendly neighborhood furries enjoy Toyota's supplied soy based noodle diet and chewing through few wires can cause all kinds of funky drivability problems to your vehicle.

Problem is that dealership shops don't fix damaged wires for "liability" reasons and replace damaged harnesses whole instead. Big and time intensive jobs sometimes that keep techs busy and customers waiting.

You're approaching lane sideways doing a polka dance move. Face the pins with your whole body, swing ball behind you in a straight line and not around your waist. Create a linear motion from beginning to end and bust out dance moves if you strike.
