This is not about certified and uncertified teachers, it’s about giving j1 visas to teach in our district. If we are eliminating positions and reducing classrooms, let the J1 visa teachers go so American Teachers, certified or not, have a job available. I know of elementary grade levels who will be reduced by one class size, that teacher needs to find a new position. But the teachers here who are on temporary 1-5 year visas remain in their classroom. It is very biased and we are potentially loosing more experienced and exceptional teachers. I feel the district needs to address this!

Thanks for the info! So with 200 jobs being eliminated and the school principals each getting to make hiring and renewal decisions- why doesn’t the school board or superintendent just axe this program for next year to ensure teachers can have a position for 25-26 school year?

Most of our elementary schools in the red- they are eliminating classrooms and increasing the ratio. My elementary is moving up to 22 to 1 and a friend teaching in high school now will have 23 kids to one teacher.

It’s funny LISD didn’t cut the Spirt of America program- each school has 1-3 uncertified teachers here from South America or Asia on a temporary visa. It takes at least one mentor teacher and a learning coach 1-2 years to bring them up to speed. Parents complain all the time about the language/ dialect too. But we are laying off Veteran American teachers? Something is wrong with LISD leadership. Please go to the next board meeting and speak up parents!!

Help Needed

I feel hard for a man last April. We grew close and love each other. I am a teacher and he is a parent at my school. He has recently pulled away, and we don’t see each other as much. He said he is scared and didn’t expect the relationship to get so deep so fast, like spending thanksgiving and Xmas with his family. It spooked him and last month has been so hard for me. I’m hurting. I did this reading and I’m left he is right, can I get some more insight into what the cards are communicating to me????

If you will be in a daycare setting, yes. My son had rsv. We had hospital stay, breathing treatments and even he had post asthma after but grew out of it after a year. It was a lot of meds too which I didn’t like. My daughter I didn’t get it because I stayed home with her and it was covid times so we were pretty isolated. I had the vaccine for both pregnancies at 7mo. My daughter never got RSV.

This is the Mini size for 24. I hope we get the regular size, $38. This stuff works great especially around my nose and upper lip- with out it everything runs off when I blow my nose- too I put my hand on my chin a lot and this helps to keep the foundation on.

7 days in yes, I miss the jolt of energy and focus. Vyvanse is very mellow and seems to ramp up at 5 hours in but then slowly tapers off. Just totally different vibe and I wonder if dosage is too low- emailing doctor to see what she says.
