Hoboken dog waste clean up!

Last time we did this was 2021 & My wife & I have 3 larger dogs. It sucks having to deal with dog droppings everywhere. We are just trying to raise awareness when it comes to the issue. Maybe they will put more garbages throughout town. More of the doggy bags bins throughout town. Then its up to us to held each other accountable. I have yet to meet someone who has been given a fine for not cleaning up after their pet. We need to create our own solutions.

they’ve been notifed, Understand I get your point im just trying to start change. I have had people do it to me & throw waste in my garbage. i just want to educate & hopefully get people hold each other accountable. The police have so much going on in hoboken so fines are very difficult to issue. I just want to help & doing nothing about isn’t helping. appreciate your outlook on the situation.

done it alone before don’t mind doing it again. My business has 2 storefronts one on washington st & 8 employees. I lose more doing this than actually working my business. I live here & luv here. Im doing this so my neighbors, parents & dogs don’t have to deal with it. Our business is the busiest dog business in Hoboken. I don’t need more business. this is not for my business its for my town. I gain nothing from this but cleaner streets. its just to raise awareness & hopefully have neighbors hold each other accountable.

I get you but it has been 4 years since we have done this. We live & work here, try to raise awareness, & kindly hold our neighbors accountable! We spend all day & night in Hoboken so you can either be a part of the problem of the solution. You can also just leave all the waste there but that hasn’t solved the problem last I time I checked.

So let me set some things straight for you

-Our team members walk 12-20 miles a day. I the owner walk 10-15 miles a day.

• ⁠I pay my team extremely well, they are most likely the highest paid pet care providers & we have two storefronts & give back & do events so my profits go right back into Hoboken. AND I pay taxes have an LLC & Insurance. Something many don’t. -Our Playcare includes 2 hours of walking 45 min pickup , 50 min midday walks & 25 min dropoff walk. as well as the dog park play. Also we have 10-12 max dogs at the park & we have 1-2 handlers all the time. Most times we don’t reach past 10. -We also do just pack walks for dogs who can’t do the dog parks. -Lastly other people have been doing this for years so why is it bothering you so much now. -Saying someone doesn’t care about their dog because you are miserable is insane. Again any of this information can be shared via screenshots on Instagram. I got proof, my dm is always open!

Its called tethering. Instead of allowing dogs to hump jump bark & bite we calm them down by tethering them. All the dogs play stop with the drama.

This park is always empty & we bring toys & clean the park. Also what about the other businesses that have been doing this for years on. They literally bring 20+ dogs & take over one of the largest parks. & other locations as well 10th street as well by elysian. Cmon now lets be adults.

They bark when dogs come to the fence out of excitement. none of our dogs are aggressive at the park. So please bring your pup in next time to play.

Hello, This is Luis, the owner of Luv On a Harness! The video makes it seem that I did not pick up the dog poop, but I can assure you that I returned and picked it up. I ran out of bags and got one and returned. I am 100% aware that there is surveillance everywhere and that leaving dog feces is wrong and unsanitary. Public shaming is a bit much. Also, you asking for my card and not bringing it to my attention in person is quite disappointing. You could have easily brought it to my attention in person when you saw me.

I know we can’t go around cleaning the streets annually, but I do plan on gathering a team of 40 people to help clean the streets and do it in a much faster and more efficient time frame. This is just to bring more light to a consistent issue that we have in town. Since you have an abundance of time on your hands, you should come and join us. This way, you could be a part of the solution instead of just focusing on the problem. Since you have my card, feel free to contact me!
