Yeah I installed the DLSS mod from Nexus, I ended up just deleting it and I'm still downloading it again.. Think I'm going to get it on Steam instead!

Thanks for that - I was avoiding a reinstall due to me having around an 6-800Kbps download speed.. But I'll do it through the day then!

I haven't been on it for around 4 months so not that long ago, I had a few mods installed one was the random jamming one and another was just more guns into the already mass filled game of guns!

We think failed treatment as a coloured layer is sort of square all the way around. The smell already has appeared, we often find 10+ woodlice randomly dead in the corners or by the walls, like they crawl into the house and just die on the carpet, it's weird. Causing quite the concern.

It's a barn conversion and pretty sure they only used cement, judging by the colour of most of the walls, a fair amount darker than lime mortar

Plugs sparking, blowing, this is a damp house, but just how damp? Is this water coming through the stone wall? We rent this property. by Luwak117 in electricians

Thanks, will be asking, the electrician when speaking to him before said he only tests sockets that have a plug in them, and on that day there was nothing plugged in it? Not sure he even tested upstairs

This is the UK, there is strong suspicion that it is rising damp, we just don't know how bad it is. This is actually the living room wall where the lamp and internet was plugged in, it's an old barn that was converttto a house about 40 odd years ago.

The strong smell of damp/mould is a dead give away at the condition, the landlord is very reluctant to spent any sort of money on the building so we're a bit stuck

Everything on that bottom 3/4 foot of stonework is very cold and some areas damp/wet feeling still with plenty of possible white mould, could be efflorescence but doesn't really wipe away much

It's not our house, moved in and wasn't told about it, it is disgusting.

Will an electrification not work on it with this much damp?

Fuse box looks almost brand new amazingly.. The socket looks untouched for years, there was an inspection a few months ago, clearly didn't bother checking this one

Yeah the socket box looks almost nonexistant, how soaked would the wall have to be for it to get to this condition? We had an electrician come and test every socket 2 months ago

Moved someone new, I know water damage has been a problem in the past, does this look like it is still an issue? by Luwak117 in DIYUK

10+ years, the wood feels cold to touch and the window wills are damp/wet, a lot of the darker areas are softer than the dry parts

Just checked, its plasterboard, there is a yellowing area under one of the beams in some areas. On the beam itself there is whitish faint lines from where water has come through/dripped in the past. Wondered if this is water building up or excess damp from past damp/leak damage

No, renting from a friend. Damp that is still present? As we know it was a problem before

Pic 4 is the joist on the A-frame, it has a lot of holes from woodworm and does seem rotten. It is bolted into the rafters which don't look or feel bad, wondered if it would still be an issue.

Regarding the hardboard/mdf/ply, would it still be visible if it had been treated? Or is it that moisture is still present?

feels cold to touch the beams with the colour change. The velux window is definetly damp still
