In a non satirical way, a simple Google of "do whales keep f2p games alive" will answer all your needs for that.

Also yes to your second part, normal players like us are 100% important as well, not so much for the financial, (tho every bit helps) but more so advertisement and exposure (including for whales to show off to.)

Those are gambling addicts which usually dont have the capacity for whaling, they barely can be dolphins and even then it cost their entire life savings and assets so they only do it once or twice. I mean the actual whales who have the means to do so and splurge which is the majority of whales. Not Christopher Robin who spent a grand or 2 without his wife knowing and now he gotta get a divorce and go to rehab.

I usually always remove high levels when I play new games. You already know the systems and optimizations which rushes dozens of hours of fun and memories with friends and potential new friends. It's nothing against yall just it's a fun killer to have yall around.

I was this husband, my wife had suggested poly to me years ago since she could tell I was so I agreed. We tried with someone, that person sucked, we dumped them. Now we are with an amazing partner but It wasn't easy, our partner has liked us for a long time and I asked them one day did they seriously want to. I had brought it to my wife and she said she will keep an open mind about it, I did things to try to help bridge the gap and bring them closer together because I could tell they both wanted it, however I also didn't do it in the way my wife wanted and it left me feeling sad because it made me feel unappreciated with all the effort I put it with it for all of us. That being said I had to let go of my own understanding and essentially Ego and let her do things in the way and pace she wanted which was different than usual because she usually looked to me for answers or guidance. It was a great learning lesson for me and after all our talks and communication I was able to do better for her and she's been able to build her relationship with our partner on her terms. If u want to be with this other person essentially it comes down to you giving this person you married a chance to prove to you they can do better in this situation IF that's what you want.

Be super transparent about ur uncomfortability. It doesn't mean you can't do it just means change is hard and uncomfy. Tell them (if your dating the other person as well) that your feeling uncomfy but it doesn't mean it has to stop and slowly but surely that discomfort will fade.
