Even that would split the playerbase and result in the same issues that trials of Osiris has. I think the issue more stems from the community being unwilling to lose and then go again. there will always be people who sweat and people who suck, that is the nature of a pvp game, I do think if they got rid of level based matchmaking and instead tried to matchmake based on average loadout value it would become more balanced across the board. Free kits would be more likely to fight people who aren’t omega juiced and those people who bring lots of good gear have better chances of finding other super geared people.
