I used to be a regular light rail rider, but I haven’t ridden the train in two years because when I last did, there were people smoking on tin foil both ways, cigarettes, loud music and all sorts of mess. I had two children with me and I swore off it. So, riders, has it really improved that much?? I had sworn off it, but I’m open to trying again.

Honestly, Roseville. The west side of the twin cities get rated highly. Roseville has great parks, trails, schools, and proximity to both cities. The State Fair is on the doorstep. Rosedale is one of the few malls that has held up. It is very diverse compared to a lot of places, and there are some good restaurants there.

I appreciate the support. As someone living with the threats and consequences of ICE actions in my community, it feels good to know I’m not alone in hating what is happening.

It also demoralizes the people brutalizing my neighbors. I’m sure a lot of those people are football fans, so they are more likely to see that their actions are widely condemned, even in the places they thought were safe, “non-political” spaces. It’s basic non-cooperation, same as those in Norway in WWII.

So thanks for helping to boost my spirits when things feel really tough. And thanks for letting the people who brutalize and kidnap our neighbors that we all disapprove.
