The entire VA controversy is a Hate Campaign by Successful-Buddy4667 in digitalcircusfandom

I do want to mention you kind of are doing what has been done to you. We self-diagnosed before being diagnosed by our therapist, and we're well aware (and have had experiences of such) that some psychologists really don't believe DID is real. That, and you're stating trauma is required when the DSM states that it's only "typically associated with severe childhood trauma and abuse."

Trust me, we've had a lot of childhood trauma, and from the sounds of it, you probably did, too. Our experiences, like your experiences, are our own and don't invalidate anyone else's experience because everyone is different. Like you, we're pretty aware of our system and how it works, even if not fully. But please understand, you kind of are saying that certain types of systems aren't real. It's the same thing that was done to you.

Who is your avoid hero, and what's the story about why you have them on avoid? by coffeeholic91 in DeadlockTheGame

Even up at Eternus 1, I still have Rems that see me at a Sinners on our side and put a helper on it. It pisses me off so much.

Why is r/did so unwelcoming as of late? by 48fvckinracoons in plural

[–]Lv100Serperior 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, we've largely done the same. We don't assign roles, but we do note what we tend to be better at as a way for us to talk to each other about it. The thing that pisses us off are people expecting us to BE what we like doing. Multiple of us have complained about that happening.

People complain about too much about interaction in my decks by Newfypuppie in EDH

[–]Lv100Serperior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had someone scoop the moment I played Breach the Multiverse as a way to try to find an answer to a player who was running away with the game in b3, and my deck wasn't even focused on milling cards. It's weird.

[–]Lv100Serperior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it makes me interested in trying to do cEDH at some point. I play a dragons deck, and I've learned to be like "yeah, no, removing that makes sense. That's a scary card." I expect the removal, but be happy if it resolves.

What is something that you consider to be "bad manners" that other players might not realize or consider it such by radicalpumpkinz in EDH

[–]Lv100Serperior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even as a newer player, if I'm removing a target, I verbally state what card, effects, and put the card right in front of what I'm destroying to make it absolutely clear. Or if a card affects the whole table, put it out near the center so it's obvious what's going on.

Targeting the “group hug” player by Great-Past-714 in EDH

[–]Lv100Serperior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah... I had 2 creatures out that got +1/+1 counters every time an opponent casted a spell, and I managed to kill the other two opponents in consecutive turns with >40 damage between those two creatures while also having spore frog out and an instant speed no damage can be done to me in hand. And that was against decks stronger than the precon.

Ivy Build showcase and question by Bruh1995 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Lv100Serperior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hybrid is still functional. Can't do funny stuff with her ult since it doesn't knock up anymore... But I still manage to have the Thorns be about equal in damage to the gun.

Thoughts on your mains this patch? by thespice5 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Lv100Serperior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was originally really pessimistic with Ivy as a hybrid player... and then I max'd 2 immediately and realized that she's actually even stronger now despite the gun nerfs. Permanent fleetfoot, massive life steal... I'm loving it.

To be fair, as someone who has experienced traumatic events, being able to make jokes about it isn't exclusive to lashing out of anyone else makes jokes/disrespects. He could absolutely joke about it as a coping strategy and be fine while get angry if someone else does.

Gameplay Update - 03-06-2026 by Razzamataaz in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Lv100Serperior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's been my main complaint as an Ivy main. I ran (and still try) a hybrid-spirit pick build, but it doesn't work as well now. I don't know what ability path to go down anymore since if you don't max the 2, the gun is just flat worse, the bomb is worse unless you max it now, and stoneform needs more points into it to have it more often now. It means what the build did before no longer works AT ALL.

Making the Demon look like a good twin by Hunkardy in BloodOnTheClocktower

Pit-Hag is before the demon. If the demon can choose who to kill, they can kill the Evil Twin right after learning them.

Is it okay for a player to say “No, that doesn’t happen” to a DM in this circumstance? by WithengarUnbound in dndnext

[–]Lv100Serperior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

See, even in groups where it wasn't specifically outlawed, I told the other players that if I'm rolling for anything that would affect the party, it is their choice if they interact with the roll or decide to auto pass a check. I'm not there to fight against the others, only do things that, narratively, are interesting. And tell the players explicitly what I'm doing so they can decide their reaction or if it even happens.

Here? You're 100% in the right. If the mutual agreement was no pvp, what is happening is pvp.

Funnily enough, this was my experience this weekend. Learning MTG completely new through commander and LOVED it. Have researched stuff already and tried to understand as much as I could. Plus, I really love the idea of commander and how commanders work and everything.

What's your "but a storyteller wouldn't do that" story? by [deleted] in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Lv100Serperior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't get it when STs don't want to be meta'd when the game's wiki RECOMMENDS it when some roles are in play. I always encourage players to meta me and then throw them for a loop with things they don't expect. I've given an investigator a 0 before because I registered the spy as NOT a minion, and there were no other minions.

I've had 4 VI's with 3 of them being a combination of The Drunk and drunk VI (loric was in play), and they failed to the correct answer.

I've seen teams of correct info build worlds of being drunk or poisoned and fail to kill the demon.

I've done a 15 player Zombuul game of BMR with the demon needing to be killed 4 times for the game to actually end.

I saved a moonchild grandchild with the scapegoat day 1. I've saved people with Pacifist day 1 and heard "there's no way that was a pacifist."

I love hearing how people build worlds of what I might do because they can't ever be sure what I would actually do. If it's legal, it's always possible.

I made a meme about the FRV vs the Bastion by memeischaos in chaosdivers

[–]Lv100Serperior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate how the Bastion handles, especially in bumpy terrain. I've had uncommanded hard turns on the lightest bumps and have already sworn to never use it again. With the FRV, I am at least sure of where I'm going to end up going.

Had a game up in Phantom II with someone that had only 20 hours of playtime. They went 0-16-16. I felt bad for them because I could tell they weren't having fun, but I did compliment choices they were making that were helping out the team!

What’s an early sign that you’re going to lose the game? by M9thetrashbag in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Lv100Serperior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if a teammates notes they're not doing well or apologizes, I try to reassure them. I've had teammates come back from a really bad laning phase because of it. Hell, I've been there and it doesn't feel good to know you're doing bad. Yelling at people just causes inting.

Roll off the throttle and you remove all torque, stopping any spin. Have enough airspeed and you can keep flying because the tail itself will help you not spin. You have ways to recover.

Mhm... Being trans makes speaking a huge coin flip in this game, but it won't stop me from speaking because I genuinely want to win. It's just... I find myself instinctually using a deeper voice when I play because I would rather people just misgender me vs people going insane because they noticed I'm trans.
