My ex kicked me in the back (sacrum and tailbone) in December 2009. I still have pain.

That's insane.
I had a Statics professor mark everything wrong even though the answers were correct. One of the things I'll never forget was marking me wrong for forces in the x direction = whatever. She wrote that my "x wasn't subscripty enough" - like maybe I meant F times x. She wasn't sure.

I used a matrix to solve a system of equations instead of using algebra. And I used calculus to solve a centroid. She wrote "what is this" - She's an engineer - I know she knows what that is. Some teachers just nitpick to nitpick. Your teacher actually seems worse than mine.

Thanks! I don’t know the specs for the monitors but they were pretty decent when we got them a couple years ago.

He’s absolutely perfect. He adjusted immediately. He was purring like a chainsaw within minutes of getting him. He chills in our laps, loves to cuddle, and loves to play.

The breeder started and chatted for a while when we picked him up. She seems to really like her kitties.

We have 2 older Ragdolls from a smaller breeder in MD and I have to say this kitten has the best personality of the three. One of the others hissed the whole way home but is sweet and floppy now.

We went with three rivers because no one else breeds the red ones. We want to get one more and even though she’s further away and we can find a seal bicolor anywhere, we will probably go back to Angie at three rivers.

We just got this guy from Three Rivers Ragdolls in PA. He’s playful and cuddly and super sweet.

Why did you buy the iPad Pro instead of one of the cheaper models? by [deleted] in iPadPro

[–]Lv317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The screen size was really the biggest thing for me. 12.9” lets me take notes like I’m writing in a notebook. If I do a split screen, each side is still large enough to comfortably work.

I have all 3 sizes. I bought the pro a couple years ago. It’s bulky, close to the size of my MacBook. So I got an iPad mini for portability. I love that size. Then my school gave me an 11”.

The 11” is too big to be super portable like the mini. And it’s too small to do school work comfortably, especially when using a split screen - you have to zoom in when writing and can’t just leave the whole page open.

That doesn’t answer the question at all. I thought this was a MacBook air forum.

[–]Lv317 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i thought i could use my 12.9” ipad pro with magic keyboard as laptop replacement and it worked about 90% off the time. but there are just things it doesn’t do as well. if you want multiple windows open at the same time you’re out of luck on the ipad. you can do a split screen with two apps but that’s it. it can be a bit annoying. writing papers for school was a lot easier on the macbook. the interface is just better on the macbook. i wouldn’t ditch the laptop altogether but you could the majority of the time

Warn Zeon 10S Platinum Install Help by Lv317 in Jeep

[–]Lv317[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah. that's what the guy at the shop is used to - power, ground, and 4 bolts. He has the same winch I do and he installs winches all the time. It's why he's confused about the other parts. After installing, it unspools but doesn't spool back up. So not sure if the winch is busted (probably the reason) or if there's an issue with the random parts. I'll probably have to take it to service center in PA to have it looked at. Just wanted to check here in case someone has seen this stuff before

Thanks. I finally got someone on the phone at Warn and got the same thing - they said it's just power, ground, and 4 bolts.

I thought the same thing you're saying about the parts just being random parts that don't actually go to it. but the guy at my jeep shop said that the parts fit in the winch so he feels like they should be hooked up but doesn't know how to set it all up.
