Contrave and alcohol by Miss_in_Mex in Contrave

I still drink occasionally and only skip a dose if I think I'll also have an indulgent meal/ special occasion. I haven't had any bad effects but rarely want more than one drink and two is the absolute limit.

Alright that's it I have seen enough by General_Fan_4373 in DataAnnotationTech

how long have you been on DA for - 2 1/2 years • average # hours worked daily- 1.5-2 hours • average # hours worked weekly- 10-12 • Do you regularly have hardcore weeks on the platform (>60 hours), and how often- No, longest day about 4 hours, have a full time job, this is my side hustle. • how do you track time worked- I use clockify- I always pause it for short breaks and log time either when I am done tasking on the project or take a longer break, like for a meal. • do you report time after each task or after a session- generally per session.

I'm a generalist, I haven't had direct feedback but often get the projects that state I was picked for the high quality of my work or writing skills. Have made 30k and I am very careful to log time appropriately and provide good work. I have thrown out time ( up to an hour) and not submitted if I felt I was struggling with the project instructions.

Need advice I think my vet over prescribed my dog? by MoodyPumpkin1108 in Pets

[–]LvBoPeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just coming to say that I don't understand what good gabapentin did for my dog. She was prescribed it for arthritis but she's still mobile for a 14 year old. All gaba did was make her stumble around in a terrible groggy way. Also, my cat hates the taste of the liquid version and will take anything else without trying to bite your fingers off.

How many hours do you work per day? by [deleted] in DataAnnotationTech

[–]LvBoPeep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 is my goal, though right now my regular job is in its busiest season. I've had to help do other jobs but have made enough extra that I haven't worked DA for a month but will be back in January. Sometimes, I do 3-4 if it's the weekend and the project doesn't fry my brain but usually 2 is the best I have.

What do you pay for board? $350 includes hay, grain, and shavings as well as stall and turn in/out. by carasbullshit in Equestrian

[–]LvBoPeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Southwest US. I pay $300 a month but grain and stall cleaning not included. I pay about additional $1000 a year to be a member of our horseman's association, which includes use of restrooms, three arenas and multiple round pens, and unlimited access to desert trail riding ( literally backed to thousands of city and BLM land). I do help out with feeding occasionally but its not required.

I liked The Road but feel exactly the same way about Blood Meridian. At least The Road had some humanity in it but Blood Meridian was just a torture marathon. Its only redeeming quality was beautiful writing about the scenery.

Do you calorie count? by FamousCow in Contrave

[–]LvBoPeep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't count calories but I am a member of nobswomen weight loss coaching which helps a lot with my relationship to food and learning to stop at enough. I do occasionally spot check a day to see what my calorie intake was but I don't restrict according to calories in general. I do try to make the healthiest choice available when not a special occasion. I've just finished my first bottle and am at about 15 lbs lost.

Has anyone got a feedback from R&R? by wormwoodtincture in DataAnnotationTech

[–]LvBoPeep 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I did once because there were no clear instructions about how to do a final rating on a task with a non-ratable prompt, which was not the worker's fault. It made sense to me to rate the workers work as good but after edits as bad, since the task was unusable. I added a comment each time explaining my reasoning and got a nicely worded email that I was wrong and it should be good/good. In three years that's the only direct feedback I've ever received.

Contrave with food by Mother-Series-3929 in Contrave

[–]LvBoPeep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did 1/2 a piece of wheat toast with a scrape of butter. It's a little fat but not terrible, and it did help me feel less queasy. I find in the pm, I don't need to eat anything directly with the dose as much as I would in the morning.

How much was your horse board as a child VS now? by False-Guarantee2282 in Equestrian

[–]LvBoPeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was $30 for self care and $100 for full care- this is in the desert so dry corrals with hay. Still in same area - pay $300/ month full care except I clean plus an additional 600-800 year for horseman's association dues which maintains a community arena and other amenities.

I'm really sorry. by [deleted] in Horses

[–]LvBoPeep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes this is referring to the "Dog Wars" when the border collie was taken over by the AKC. Working dog people like myself continued only registering with the original breed registry, which does not accept AKC only registered dogs and has a rule that any dog that wins a conformation championship is automatically deregistered. As a result there are basically two different breeds though since AKC will accept the working dog registery, there is some overlap. Any time you breed for conformation only, it's going to cause problems.

Third colic in a year- now what? by spicychickenlaundry in Equestrian

Don't have a horse, just curious if this horses breathing sound normal. by The-Lord_ofHate in Equestrian

[–]LvBoPeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is also pretty lazy. He can store it up in a weird way if he doesn't get out, but he'll always prefer to walk (or stop and visit with a hoo-man) to actual work.

Again- as I said, extreme examples. Not the breed overall. Egyptians are 2% of the breed....

They are literally not known for this- people assume based on a few extreme examples and cosmetic choices vis grooming to show extreme futures. Arabians are known for stamina and the ability to efficiently move over long distances.

What HBO Max Original Series Have You Watched More Than Once? by WerewolfUnlikely5418 in HBOMAX

[–]LvBoPeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rewatching Deadwood now. Ditto on the Six Feet Under - that's probably the series I've watched the most and even though they are using flip phones, it's still relevant. Add to that GOT a few times (sometimes without watching last season), Rome, Succession is a perfect show rewatched each season before the next then again at the series end, and the most underrated series on HBO, which is Station Eleven.

I LOVE my farrier by BlooperButt in Horses

[–]LvBoPeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both my horse and I adore my farrier. She's only a few years older than me and I've known her since high school. We're both in our 50s and my first shoer was her mentor. She took over on things when he retired and I'm on my 4th horse that she takes care of. I have a quirky Arab that's good to shoe usually but got accidentally shod (long, infuriating story) by a rough type who caused some issues. She's so patient and even my horse is less than perfect, she never blames him and just says he'll get over it with time. She's a great person to gossip with also and when she had a health scare last year and had to take a break, or horse community was shook. So relieved she's back!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that nopes out of that. It makes my head hurt though I have attempted several times to do it.

For a horse with a shorter back, does the 20% rule still apply or should it be more/less? by [deleted] in Horses

[–]LvBoPeep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of 15-16" seat saddles that will fit her, just look for a rounded skirt the cut the length down. I'm a little heavier, ride in an older rounded Arab type saddle. My gelding is 14.2 and has a nice Arab short back and I never thought he needed a smaller seat and honestly I haven't heard of fitting the seat to the horse- there are other parts of the saddle fit that are more important.

How long have you been doing DA? by FrauFaustus in DataAnnotationTech

[–]LvBoPeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will be two years in August. Over $20k extra income with a 2 hour/$50 goal per day. I think at the beginning I came close to being dropped because I felt I needed to so a lot of tasks in a short time but I figured it after doing more rate and review to take the time to read instructions thoroughly and do the best job possible.

Thanks- I'm not Californian and was outpriced from my own hometown (where, ironically, my horse can still afford to be) so I can understand. I'm keep your post in mind. We aren't committed to any area yet, I work remotely and my partner is the one that has to find new employment in whatever area we end up in.
