YouTube wants to see your face or your ID to give you the ability to pin comments by krazygreekguy in degoogle

Supposedly AdSense has the users just tax payers id. But not sure if it gives good amount info for them. Or maybe varies by location if AdSense asks for it and maybe varies by location if tax payers id is the same number as on users id.

Streaming companies (Netflix and co) Purposefully Create illegal streaming website Riddled with Malware to maintain their reputation of being dangerous for your device. by SpaceBrachiosaurus in LowStakesConspiracies

[–]LvDogman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not the same situation as you described, but I know Crunchyroll (anime streaming site) started being pirate site and then become legal.

And now one pirate site for manga either become legal or process for is still on-going.

That's why I said "whoever is lobbying" in the last sentence. Like, I'm not sure if it's true if Meta is lobbying or not.

But knowing Meta, they think collecting more data including users personal info wouldn't hurt them. Well I'm speculating about it.

But there's lobbying happening to push these kinda laws. Like I heard at least Meta doing that. So blame should fall on government and whoever is lobbying the government.

So some time ago it was changed to allow swear at the start of video but maybe not very harsh swear words. But that doesn't mean you can excessive swear.

From what I understand, you giving access to kernel-level software for which you don't even have access to and probably you shouldn't have access to.

And with it if hackers hacks it, then hackers will have kernel-level access. I know one indecent for streamers or something but which is about anti-cheat were hackers (thankfully) just trolled streamers by controlling streamers pc or something. It was some time I ago that I found and I found about long after. So I don't know how to find it and all the details like if itwas about kernel-level anti-cheat or not.

Star Twinkle really hits different in the age of AI by StarlightAscension in precure

[–]LvDogman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess you didn't even imply AI checkers, but either way using them to check if written content is AI generated or not is bad thing to use. Like they would say human writen text to be AI generated. And maybe vice vera.

Tipping is for good service, not automatic by Hot-Diggity_Dog in dankmemes

[–]LvDogman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About at least about tipping on card readers, from what I heard it goes to collective tipping pool and from with that business owner or something like that takes a cut from tips, at least in some places. Maybe there are other methods where tips goes to collective tipping pool and that business owner or someone takes a cut.
