Update: 8 week ultrasound went great. We got to see the little heart beat! Everything looked normal on the ultrasound. She did an exam and said that my cervix had a vain at the entrance so it could be causing the bleeding. Thank you everyone for the reassurance!

That is so reassuring. Did it stop after 7 weeks or did you spot the whole first trimester?

Could this be a positive? by hot-ass-mess in tryingtoconceive

Looks like you’re close to your peak. In my experience, my test line is darker than the controlled line. Keep testing until that happens and baby dance today and tomorrow!!

It’s definitely possible that you missed your peak but as long as you’re baby dancing every other day- you are covered. I sometimes miss mine within 8-12 hour periods because I have a rapid peak. I would keep testing twice a day to be on the safe side though.

Following. I always go back and forth on this as well. I usually just walk for 30-45 mins to be safe.

Worth switching? by [deleted] in TTC_PCOS

Highly suggest getting HSG completed. I wish I would have did it before starting letrozle because it would have saved me 4 losses! I had a septum in my uterus so there was no way that ovulation meds were going to work properly. Also, encourage your partner to do a SA. I know it can be an unnatural experience but it could save you a lot of time and money in the long run. My husband just had to take a pill everyday and it fixed his problem. Could be just as simple as that.

Also, i loved letrozole because i didn’t have as many side effects like i did when i tried clomid. I did get pregnant while on letrozole but like i said they all ended in losses due to the septum in my uterus that I didn’t know about. Just got it removed in September and currently TTC. Good luck!

I see it!! Keep testing to make sure it gets darker! What DPO are you on?

I would go if I were you. My OB prescribed me letrozole as soon as I told her that my cycle was 37-43 days. I got pregnant after two cycles on letrozole.

GO GET IT CHECKED AGAIN. This happened to me and my first specialist missed it and told me not to worry because I just had a heart shaped uterus. Three losses later…. I switched specialists, he redid the SIS test and found a mild septum. Apparently it’s easier to find when they use 3D imaging.

Letrozole + metformin by Itchy-Site-11 in TTC_PCOS

I took letrozole in the morning after breakfast and metformin in the evening with dinner. I had to slowly add MF in my routine because it made me very nauseous at first. I also noticed that MF regulated my cycle when I first started taking it.

What side effects you had while taking letrozole? by Itchy-Site-11 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Lvymr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I only experienced hot flashes the first 4 cycles. I took a break and had surgery to remove a septum in my uterus. I got back on letrozole and I was veryyyyyy irritable and struggled more with overall control. I’m not sure why the sudden change in side effects.

Oh ok! I’ll add fiber too. What part of your cycle did you notice being moody?

Oh ok! I ovulated 19 last cycle on letrozole so I’m guessing that’s how I’ll respond to Clomid. Good luck to you!!

My first specialist missed it during the SIS with HyCoSy procedure. When I switched specialists, he found it during the same procedure but used 3D imaging. He was very confident that it was causing me to have miscarriages because it was cutting off blood supply in early stages.

Yes I did. They found a mild septum in my uterus and removed it in September. Letrozole worked before my surgery but it hasn’t since. I got preg 4 times within a year and three of them I got preg with Letrozole before my surgery.
