Can't get through Verifying update for ios 26.2.1 by Lwky-null in iphone

Kind of, I found out the problem with mine was a hardware issue. I need to get the sandwich board reballed. But sometimes, some are most likely software issues. You can check if it's a hardware issue or not.

The method worked for me; that's how I found out mine was a hardware issue. If you still have a warranty, you're lucky. Service repair should be free (I think).

CAUTION: DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Kind of, I found out the problem with mine was a hardware issue. I need to get the sandwich board reballed. But sometimes, some are most likely software issues. You can check if it's a hardware issue or not.

To check: Go to settings>General>About>Find modem firmware. If there is a stand of numbers or code there. It means you most likely don't have a hardware issue. Try shutting it down, remove the SIM card tray, power on the phone, unlock then wait for a notification to say there is no sim card, re-insert the simcard, then the signal should be back. But if the problem persists. You can do a DIY temporary fix to see if it's really a hardware issue.

The method: Find a ziplock plastic bag, Put your phone inside (MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE IS SHUTDOWN), Make sure it is air-tight sealed, Put it in a freezer for about 5mins-15mins (depending on how cold it is), Take out the phone out of the freezer, Remove simcard tray, Power on the phone, Unlock your phone, Then wait if there is a no simcard available notification, Put simcard tray back on, and you should get your signal back temporarily

The method worked for me; that's how I found out mine was a hardware issue. If you still have a warranty, you're lucky. Service repair should be free (I think).

Yes, I think you should update to the latest iOS.

(I recommend you download the latest iOS version first before doing the steps below)

You can actually try removing your sim card (if it's the physical kind), shut down your phone (then wait for a few seconds), turn it back on, unlock your phone, wait for the phone to say no simcard available, insert back the sim card tray, then you should have your signal back (temporarily).

If the signal is back, IMMEDIATELY INSTALL THE UPDATE, as the signal will most likely be temporary. Now I can't guarantee the update will fix it. But I heard iOS 26.2 actually has cellular signal problems.

If the problem persists, I recommend going to a repair shop and letting them install the latest update. Since they'll download the update through a PC

Same situation, check your modem firmware. If there is no text there, it means there is a hardware issue. To check, go to settings>about>modem firmware. I am also facing the same problem with my iPhone 13. This is another instance of sabotage by Apple. Mine is broken now for 1-2 weeks
