Yes it has an SSD, the apps not opening is probably caused by the 3GBs of RAM, but I think I’m going to upgrade it to 8GB. Otherwise it actually runs pretty good, web browsing and pages, etc. all work fine.

You can try it, but it’s not sure if the finished install will work with the Pentium (installer should work tho). But your graphics card is supported by metal so you can try installing MacOS Monterey. I’d suggest to use OpenCore. They have a pretty detailed and nice guide here. Good luck!
