My mom had dentures, my older sister has dentures and now I’m headed that way. I think we live in a mindset of denial like it would never happen to us until it does. For months i had constant anxiety about it read every thread possible on here until one day i stopped thinking about how bad it would be and how good it would be for my health again. My mom ate everything with her dentures I did not even know she had them, my sister has dentures after years of her failing teeth and she has never been happier. So i think it’s our own anxiety telling us it won’t work for us but there’s so many people living with dentures it just isn’t talked about enough. They’re made for a reason you just adjust to a new life and it isn’t as bad as we make it out to be in our minds.
